When you book at Maerua mall branch ask for Rosa/e, her service is 10/10 top notch she spend almost an hour trying to look for the best frames for me🤗🤗

The staff is very friendly, but not helpful at all and they are extremely expensive. A few weeks ago I've I went into the Promenade Mall branch and saw a Sunglass that I've felt in love with. The price on that sunglasses was R6200 for 2 pairs, however they couldn't give me an estimated amount on my selection until I've completed the eye test and after the eye test I had to pay 50% deposit which I was in a position taking from my estimate calculation. To my surprise I've got about "R2000" discount, but it still haven't met my calculations. On this particular sunglasses I've selected 1 pair and another pair from a cheaper price range because my understanding was buy 1 get free. After the eye test was completed the quotation for the 2 pairs came to R16 200. At first I thought it was a mistake, but this was the amount. With in shock I've agreed on the quote and paid for the eye test of R500 and a deposit of R1000 a total of R1500, but went I've arrived at home I've decided not to go ahead with that because of the affordability. I then called them the following morning to cancel, the lady that answered the call advised me to come in for a re-qoutation. I then decided to go for a re-quotation only to find out that there will be no difference on the total of the original quote. Now I really loved this particular sunglasses, but the original advertisement of 2 pairs for R6200 will cost me R9700 for only 1 pair. Now on top of my dissatisfaction/disappointment/stupidity or whatever you want to call it, I know I have to pay for the eye test, but there's no refund for the deposit I've paid for the specs they never send for my prescription. With this said I will never recommend anyone to this place for spec's even if you have money.

I had a great experience at Torga Optical KwaDukuza Mall. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The Doc explained very clearly. I got the best of service.

Great,meticulous and empathetic customer service and care I received from Mrs. Karima Jacobs at Torga optical. I visited the Blue Route mall branch a couple of months ago. I will recommend any new Family wishing to get their eyes tested to pay them a visit. Mrs. Kareema Jacobs and her team's services go far beyond the actual taking ownership of your specs. This was proved today after nearly 5 months. Today I received a call from her to found out if I still enjoy my spectacles. Thank you for going beyond your call of just managing a team. Thank you.

Disappointed with customer service at Carindale. They told me they couldn’t repair my glasses that were still under warranty and tried to charge me for another frame. I took my glasses to another optometrist who repaired them while I waited. Torga caused me enormous unnecessary stress.

Why give someone a $100 gift voucher for their birthday when they can’t spend it on their purchase!!
What’s the point!! I won’t be going back there again it’s just a way to suck you in!!

Absolutely love dealing with the Torga team in Australia. All their staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The best for me is the huge selection of stunning frames, so many choices to suit everyone and every occasion. Very tempting to take extras

I had a good experience there today. The lady acknowledged me, said hello and we had a pleasant chat. She was very informative, gave me options on how to move forward aswell.
I think that's all we want is to be welcomed in a store with some friendlyness.

Catherine at Chermside gave exceptional service. She was knowledgeable, thorough, quick and patient. A pleasure to deal with.

When I walked in Lady made me feel welcome and helped me with all my queries. She even explained that I could lay by a pair of glasses as I only receive Sassa.

I ordered two pairs of multi focals at Torga Carindale on the 6th January 2023 ,one normal and one sunglasses. I was told I would receive the Premium lens option, polarised, and coated. I paid $650 as per attachment.
Approximately two weeks later I receive a phone call advising me that my specs are ready for collection, Hooray..... NO..... I try on my new specs and the prescription is WRONG. After rechecking my eyes again I was told it would be rectified and to please be patient, So I agree.
More than two weeks pass and no phone call. I decided to drop into the store and check on the progress. Checking online and out back staff cannot find anything. Then suddenly the specs are located on one of the bench tops out front, Hooray..... NO...... again I try them on and the prescription is still WRONG. It seems as if nothing at all has been done. NOT HAPPY..
Again we sit down and test my eyes and call Specsavers for my old prescription they have on file. Please be patient. So again I agree.
Finally on the 3rd March 2023 ( some 8 long weeks later ) I receive a call and the staff member tells me my specs have arrived early... "WHAT Is this a JOKE" ??????
So I make an appointment and today 4th March 2023 I pick up my new specs and all seems good with them. Now I arrive home and check my email to see one from Torga with an attachment. It has an invoice for $347.00 (attached) In the unclear description it clearly states UNCOATED. Your sales staff promised me I was getting the coatings. Not only have I paid $303.00 more than the invoice I haven't received what was promised on the 6th January.
This whole affair has been an absolute Farce. I definitely will NOT recommend Torga to anyone....

The professional customer care from optician and and staff is the outstanding factor. Prompt feedback on the processing of the opticians motivation to the medical which has been approved and paid. I can only say thank you for the service I received. Friendliness, and professionalism, excellent.

I went to Torga Optical in Greenacres and was helped by a nice lady named Anathi. She was very friendly and hyped me up when I got my glasses. There were a lot of frames to chose from there and the staff helped my narrow down my options to the glasses I am wearing now. I love the frame that I have chosen and I am able to see more clearly now thanks to them and the fact they were affordable makes it my new place to get glasses. All in all it was a wonderful experience.

Every client is treated the same and like they know you for ages.They value your popping in their space and are professional in terms of their work and experience. The optometrist himself is always willing to meet you half way when the problem arises.They are good people yo work with..Thank you Torga.Keep up your good work.

I have been a customer at Torga for many years. Torga West Gate Roodepoort service has become real bad. I will look for another optometrist going forward.

Very friendly staff. Got helped straight away - no waiting. Very informative throughout the consultation and testing. Very helpful with finding the right glasses that suit me.
