Podcast presenters' tone feels condescending

I would highly recommend the :

*Lab Detective*,
*Lucky Boy*,
*Dr Anti Vax* and
*Tavistock*

I found these very gripping personally. Most people talk about Sweet Bobby but after accidentally finding out how it ends via YouTube I lost interest. Still I say well done to them and for keeping most episodes free.

They're top notch no sensationalising nor is it black and white reporting. I get the sense they really want to get to the truth and help victims who have been ignored, or fallen through the cracks . What makes them unique is that they also seem to want to understand complex criminal minds and even deluded people who think they're doing good (like the Gender GP) rather than outright vilifying or calling them crazy

I wouldn't mind subscribing but they don't have enough investigative podcast stories Which is really what interests me. Hopefully they'll continue to add more

I've tried multiple times to get my membership cancelled but no one will respond to my emails or queries on the website. I've emailed every relevant address I could find, well before my subscription renewed, only to be charged the yearly subscription cost anyway. Now, I cannot log into my account. I've paid for a service that I didn't want and I cannot access. I've never had media subscriptions that have been this difficult to cancel.

Seems as though it should be quite reliable. The Wikipedia page on this company (en dot wikipedia dot org/wiki/Tortoise_Media), says:

“Tortoise Media is a British news website co-founded by former BBC News director and The Times editor James Harding and former US ambassador to the United Kingdom Matthew Barzun.”

I'd hope people like that would value their reputation enough that they would not publish fake news.

Bias, of course, is an entirely different matter.
