As someone who decided to take up driving later on in life I was a little worried about getting behind the wheel . Turns out I had nothing to worry about . Paul ( my instructor ) was patient knowledgeable and reliable . Always able to answer my questions and build up my confidence. When I was ready for my test I passed first time . Highly recommend 👍

I am a very anxious person and genuinely thought I would never get to the stage of being test standard due to my nerves. From my very first lesson, I was made to feel at ease. Paul was extremely understanding throughout my time of lessons especially as for a while I was heavily pregnant! I can’t thank Paul enough for being so reassuring and thorough in the way he teaches. 100% recommend learning to drive with Totally Automatic.

Passed my test 1st time this week thanks to Paul.
After putting off learning to drive for years I started with Paul earlier this year and he was amazing from start to finish.
He is really patient and has a lot of experience as an instructor and knows how to explain things in a clear and easy to understand way.
Its clear he is not just teaching you how to pass your test but how to be a safe and confident driver once you have passed.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Paul is absolutely brilliant! It took me a while to get my adhd brain around driving he has always been calm and very professional also supportive working around different ways for me to understand i also preferred when I did things wrong as Paul would then explain to me were I was going wrong! passed today first time and I couldn’t thank him anymore I would never of been able to pass if it wasn’t for him thank you Paul!!

I couldn’t recommend Paul enough since moving from manual lessons to automatic he made the transmission very smooth and with me not being from the area he made sure I became familiar with places that would become important. Paul made sure that I knew what I was doing good at but what also I needed to improve on in a fair way. He helped me to improve on these and never made it uncomfortable when I made mistakes. If anyone is to take driving lessons I would highly recommend Paul as you will get to where you want to be in no time.

Paul was so easy going and knowledgeable.

Returning to driving lessons after a 20 year break, I was lacking in confidence and really struggling with some of the basics. Paul has always been patient and often explained things in different ways until they made sense to me.

Paul is a brilliant instructor, never pressuring me and happy to wait until I felt confident enough to go in for the test. I can definitely recommend him to anyone learning to drive, especially those who may be nervous or struggling.

Paul is an exceptional instructor. Driving has been a long journey for me and before I started with Paul I wasn’t sure I was meant to be a driver.

Paul give me the confidence to know I am a good driver, he was incredibly patient but honest and supportive. Paul always put a positive spin on mistakes and never made me feel embarrassed, it was all part of the learning process.

Communication and working with Paul was incredibly easy, he really did go above and beyond to work early mornings and on weekends, something I will always be grateful for.

I really cannot thank Paul enough. Driving was something I never found easy but the best teachers know how to get the best out their students. I now feel completely safe, sound and confident to drive using the procedures and skills he taught me.
