I bought a home and I was told to get a home warranty that it would cover my appliances washer and dryer and the entire air-conditioning unit even the condenser well it was all Lie. Total protection has not kept their word and when I needed their service they failed me. No fault of my own past owners did not maintain. So another words I had to put out $6500 to buy a completely new AC unit inside and out and they would not help me with any of it because of the last owners which is no fault of my own and they know that I sent them all the inspection reports saying that the AC unit was in working condition but when we got into the unit the AC was going out and we had no idea and I sent all the documentation to them but it did not seem to matter they would not even meet me halfway. So if you're looking to get a home warranty do your homework read the reviews don't take the word of a realtor don't take the word of a buddy do your homework check into it ask questions because I guarantee you there's other ones out there that don't stick to their word and total protect is one of them just keep your money because they're not worth a dime .
