I was travelling solo and whole my trip to Kenya (and before trip also) I felt secure and well taken care of. All the resorts were excellent and my guide on the safari was super❤️ With any question, it was easy to contact TourCompass.
I can highly recommend Tourcompass - they made one of my dream come true.

overall experience is very positive, prompt actions, always very responsive customer services. Great program plan. Excellent local partner agencies.

Suggestion for improvement: app would be useful in english language

They have excellent selections of tours… whatever you choose, expect the best experience with them

Hyvin järjestetty matka, Kruger Park Hotel erinomainen ja lisäbonus: uima-allas suoraan Kruger-parkkiin, jossa oli mm. elefantteja ja rihinoja. Birgit yhteyshenkilömme hotellissa asiantunteva, erittäin mukava ja auttavainen.
Safariajot olivat riittäviä, ainoa huono puoli oli, että driver and guide (Jeremiah?) not very good, he didn´t search properly the animals and was slow and to my mind not so interested in looking for animals. I asked the last extra drive if we can go after the rhinos and he said, " you saw them already and they are far away" and then afterwards in the pool I saw the rhinos for ex....??? I was not very happy with him, especially when I have been 15 times in the safaris (17 times in Africa) in different parts of Africa and seen many rangers and guides, so I think I have a feeling for a good one. Then we waited for him for the1st morning drive from 5h45 to 7h15 and all groups gone... he said that he was late because of the riot on the road (cut). He was said to have us (2 danish girls and me) 2 extra hours and when he didn't he was having a dispute with his supervisors and the extra drive he extended, but he was worried more about his payment... Well the drives were not so bad, I didn't mean it that way, but I am a bit greedy for animals... The night drive WAS GREAT  and a great guide, top ten. I saw 2 animals which I hadn't seen before. Flight to Cape Town very nice and smooth. Premier Hotel a bit far from Waterfront but shuttle from hotel worked very well (I had recently the knee operation, so thatś why). Hotel was totally satisfactory and personnel very kind. Your contact in Cape also very good. Nice trip as a whole and perhaps the next time... see again.

I booked a Tanzania safari through TourCompass. Booking went very smoothly and the travel agency was easily able to add extra safari days to my itinerary. In addition, their single supplement was reasonable. They were also helpful with changing one leg of my return flight when I found a connecting flight with a 2.5 hour layover instead of a 5 hour layover for the flight they had reserved. Everything was great until Qatar Airways rescheduled my return flight to leave two days later than the original return flight. I assumed that TourCompass would soon contact me with information about a return flight that will leave on the original date. Weeks went by without hearing from them, so I emailed them and was told that they are receiving a lot of schedule changes and they need to look at them by departure date. Fair enough. I told them that I would wait. After more than a month had gone by, I contacted them again. They got back to me in a timely fashion and told me that they would refund me 1,100 € if I would like to make my own flight booking. At the time they booked my flight, it cost about 1,359 € on-line, so unless TourCompass receives a discount from Qatar Airways, it appears that they would perhaps benefit from this arrangement. I emailed them to let them know that I will consider making my own flight booking, but I would first like to know what kind of flights they can offer me. I have now waited 3 days to get a response and hope to hear from them soon. I will update my review after I know the outcome.

19 April 2023. I am happy to report that just a few days after my review, TourCompass presented me with two alternative flight itineraries and I chose one of them. My return flight is not ideal, but I was not able to find anything better on my own that would not have been a lot more expensive (many of the flights have doubled and even tripled in price compared to just one month ago). I do understand that it is a real headache for travel agencies when airlines reschedule flights, but I still think that TourCompass should have contacted me much sooner. There is no doubt that my Trustpilot review helped speed up the process. All of my interactions with TourCompass were professional and friendly, and I am very much looking forward to my Tanzania safari.

Afrikkasafari.fi has really well adjusted to the covid-19 situation. I have been able post-pone the trip twice and on both times without any hassle.
