Wonderful Experience, Disability Friendly!
I had a wonderful time on the Washington DC tour I booked for myself, my mom and dad, and my sister as a fun graduation gift. Jim of Tour Washing helped me book everything—it was great considering I have terrible phone anxiety, but am also worried about getting scammed by people. He knew the best prices for everything that we wanted to do, and even helped me navigate booking a few things myself.
The attractions and destinations we got to see were so cool! I hadn't ever heard of the spy museum before, but it was so much fun. We also got to see George Washington's home that he lived in as President. That was a really neat area, and beautiful.
The hotel Jim booked us was stellar. And the deal he got us was mind-blowing for a 5-star hotel. I 100% want to stay in the Waldorf Astoria again. 10/10 for that place too.
Jim also booked us private tours around the DC area—being that I am chronically ill and walk with a cane, the private (air-conditioned) car was a blessing. He did say that larger groups tend to get a bus, but we were small enough we got a car. I assume the busses have AC/heat as well! But cannot speak on that as I didn't experience that.
Honestly, my experience booking with Your Washington DC was great. Jim and his team took care of all the stressful work so my family could relax and enjoy ourselves—oh he also helped us with the flights! I almost forgot to mention that, haha. The TWDC kept in mind my disabilities and my food allergies (along with those of my mom and sister) when booking the trip. It was great. I look forward to the next time I have something to celebrate because I will 100% book with Tour Washing again! I've heard there are some new museums in DC that I'd love to visit.
