Although it was very busy for midweek afternoon in March, the experience was interesting, educational and rewarding. So much to see and study, you could spend all day in the Tower and still not see it all. We joined a very large group of visitors and we were all treated to a marvellous tour of the Tower grounds, guided by a wonderfully entertaining Yeoman called Nev, a true character.
I loved learning about the history, the Crown Jewels were absolutely stunning, and the Yeoman Warder tour was both funny and informative. But it was really crowded even on a weekday morning, and the queue system felt chaotic. Still, definitely worth visiting once in your life!
