Misdescription of product, they do not look as they did in the brochure - cheap look and poor fit

The sales person was very nice and attentive prior to the sale, but when the shutters were installed they did not match the examples provided in the photos of the brochure. They were bulky and the frames stuck out from the window frame; the shutters were not flush with the wall as expected but protruded by at least an inch from the wall. The examples in the brochure for solid shutters did not protrude and I was told that this was because they were different types of windows. No sample was ever shown to me (other than for colour and brassware), and at no point did anyone point out the difference in aesthetics would be so significant. To compound matters, I already have existing solid shutters in some rooms, and these were shown to the the company representatives on two occasions as samples of what I was looking for/expecting. No one ever mentioned that they would be significantly different. In addition to this, the shutters, although 'made to measure', are shipped in from China and are a very poor fit with gaps of up to 1.5 cm between the existing frame and the new frame. I was told that this would be made good with filler, but I can envisage that with all the opening and closing shutters endure, a gap of this size will soon crack and open up again.
Having initially agreed to refund me, they have been ignoring my emails/phonecalls and have now backtracked and are refusing to refund me the full amount. I am now stuck with having to pay for costs of dismantling the shutters, making good the walls/frames again, and disposing of the shutters, not to mention costs legal fees to recover the funds. STAY AWAY from this company, they are not trustworthy and considering the price of the product is not as it looks in the brochure. It's a clear case of misdescribed goods according to the legal advice. I have the photo evidence to back it all up.
