Same as others on here. My wife order 4 monster high dolls ages ago. Was told they would arrive May. Nothing. We have sent email etc and been ignored. It seems like this company has gone and taken my wife's and others hard earned money as well as upsetting a child waiting ages for toy. Do the decent thing toyopolis and give us our money back. This is absolutely terrible and theift

owner had another business before this one, Dark Side Toys, and ripped off loads of people. Stolen 5k worth of stuff from me. Got took to court and shut down to avoid paying the court order. From the other reviews I see he's still at it.

Now trading again under a new name.

After 1 year, I am still waiting for my items (Hammond Collection) to arrive.

They do not respond to emails, and their chat on the website doesn't work.

I suspect they are closing the business or doing something shady. I see they still take pre-orders for items as of today, but please do not fall for this trap.

Pre ordered several items which have either been cancelled without any notification or the items never arrived. I placed an order for Hammond collection last april and after over a year it’s still not arrived. They lie on their socials that stock will be arriving and then quickly delete their posts and when you contact customer support it’s more false promises. I have requested refunds several times now and they will either ignore you or claim that they’re sorting it out which they never do. I suggest avoiding any pre orders from this site.

I made two orders about a year ago, the items (hammond collection) were never sent to me, every time I asked for clarification they said they would arrive next week, then next month and so on.. in the end, exasperated, I asked to cancel the orders , they did it after my pressure, they canceled the orders but I was not refunded because they said that after 180 days the refund cannot be issued (the 180 days had passed because of them because they assured me that the items I never received would come)
when I threatened to report, they told me that they would issue me a credit to spend on the site, but having made the purchase as a guest and without having an account, I could not see or use my credit anywhere.
Again under my threat of complaint they offered me to send me alternative items (not the ones I had purchased).  I accepted so as not to lose the money.  The items arrived but still did not cover the total cost of my two orders.  They barely covered the expense of one order.  So there was still around 120 € of credit left which I never saw again.
Recently they say they shipped some hammond collection items.  I asked them if mine was included in the orders sent but they said no and that they had stock on the way.  So again in exasperation I asked them to send me more replacement items (which I saw available on their site) to compensate for the still pending order but since then I have received no response either on instagram or on the support email.  This situation has been going on for more than a year and it is unnerving and in addition to the loss of the money that has clearly been stolen from me, there is also the psychological discomfort and stress that this site has caused me.

I suspect Toyopolis is dissolving and not refunding customer pre-orders. They're not responding to emails and have recently changed their email address. The phone number is permanently showing as busy and the live chat doesn't work.
They haven't refunded my cancelled pre-orders after numerous emails and looks like they've stolen my money.
For anyone else in this situation, I strongly recommend issuing a chargeback on your credit / debit cards or opening a PayPal case depending on how you have paid and if it is still within the time limit.
For anyone outside the time limit and looking to claim via small claims, be aware that Toyopolis is not a registered business name in the UK. The owner, David Rawstron, trades under numerous registered business names as Dunk Commerce Ltd and The Boring Toy Company. You can find these on gov.uk website under registered companies. You'll also find that they are all registered to the same name and address. If Dark Side Toys means anything to you, this was the same person who also closed up and took customers money previously. (You can see reviews for that online too - it ain't pretty).

Refusing a refund for an item already paid for. They kept pushing back the due date and when I requested a refund there was no reply. Numerous emails ignored, I highly recommend avoiding toyopolis

Long story short, they've walked off with my money.

While toyopolis might not be a scam website, they are a dishonest company. I preordered the hammond collect t-rex in July 2022 and I waited up until recently. I requested a refund on the 14th as it appears I will never get it. The 'refund' was issued same day 14th April but I have yet to receive a single penny.

While I understand they're not at fault for stock control (Mattel control that) they are however, in full control of issuing a refund.

There are also 2 things that might be coincidental, but they bug me nonetheless: 1) when I asked in Oct 2022 on an estimate for shipping, they said they hope to ship all orders by the end of 2022, which is coincidentally when the 180 days of paypal buyer protection ran out; and 2) while they do respond to emails, they have ignored two I've send, both sent in April which were 'have you got stock' and 'where is my refund.' I allowed 2 weeks for them to respond to the first, and I am still waiting for a reply on where my refund is.

I cannot in good conscience recommend shopping here. As of writing, I have approached the citizen advise consumer service,and written my informal request for a refund. I don't have any hopes this will get a response and this will likely escalate to small claims court.

Otherwise, please have a look at the other 2 (as of writing) 1-star reviews. They all are to do with returns or refunds.

UPDATE 3 June 2023. So I can no longer proceed with small claims court because they do not have a business address. What shop does not have an address? Not any respectable one at least. The only address they do have is some fake address that is registered with a ton of no names companies. I did send my statement of small claims to that address only for it to be denied. Again, if this was their real address, why deny the mail? At the very least I thought this was a dishonest shop, I am now calling it a full SCAM website!

First time ordering and I've had a great experience. Fast shipping before Christmas. I will be ordering again! And thank you for stocking the holiday Draculaura!

Fabulous. Me and my partner both ordered MH dolls from here and they were packed excellently with speedy shipping, great customer service too. Would 100% use in future!

I preordered all 5 of the Monster High core dolls from Toyopolis. I wasn't expecting them to ship until late November/December but I got a shipping email on the 31st of October and the next morning they were at my door!

The customer service team let me know there were delays in one of the dolls being shipped to them and were super lovely and straightforward with letting me know the updated shipping.

I highly recommend ordering from Toyopolis! They deserve so much more hype!

Being in the UK its almost impossible getting ahold of Monster High collector dolls. I bought Howliday Draculaura through Toyopolis and she was shipped and arrived really quickly!! All perfect and was even shipped in the mattel box (adds to the fun lol) super happy. Bonus was that she was actually cheaper than on the mattel creations website!!! Thank you toyopolis!

I purchased 2 Toys for my daughter from Toyopolis cooking pots with surprise animals in. They arrived very fast and jn perfect condition. Daughter over the moon.
Waiting on second part of order and to pay for my mh pre order. Toyopolis is great jn that no money Is paid for pre orders until they have the stock and can cancel pre order at any time also 7 day to return goods jf unhappy. Thank you Toyopolis. 5 stars 🌟

Didn’t send one of my items, one box was damaged, the outer packaging was damp and random pick for cats vs pickles (just tossed in box with no protection) was all pickles w/duplicates. I paid a lot for shipping none of the products were as described and I’m going to have attempt to go through a return process and forfeit my expenses is what it looks like they want. Horrible experience. Would never recommend!

Returned item and requested refund based on the fact that the item is faulty/damaged. Refused refund 3 weeks later, because package was open and the company disagreed on damage/fault. Will never use again. This is a breach of statutory rights and will take to small claims court as item was expensive.

Great website, item came promptly with lots of communication. Was worried at first, but actually no issues, and very pleased with everything.
