I bought a Deco65
I bought a Deco65, everything worked at startup, set up the Deco65 for different devices both via wifi and cable connection. But when the first installation was finished, there was an update and although it said that this update would not destroy the already setup, the update still made this, a big frustration. However, the support was easy to get in touch with and was quick with answers and support so ***** stars for support, *** stars for the update and now eagerly waiting for the next update and hope I don't get the same problem with the next update otherwise it's only ** stars from me.
Hardware v2.0 is a downgrade—Features removed without notice
I bought C402 solar camera version 1.2 which marketed AI recognition ability without a subscription. It worked fantastic. So I bought 3 more, expecting the same. But for some reason they downgraded version 2.0 to remove the most important function of the camera, NO AI ability! I found out this was missing after I installed them on my house. I figured it must be a software update needed to restore full functionality. I called customer support to be told too bad, they removed it without notice. I feel deceived in making a normal assumption that a new version would be as good or better, but some genius decided to just quietly remove the most important feature. I'll never buy another product from tp-link! What a scam!
The Best Router I've Ever Owned
I recently purchased from Amazon a TP-Link Archer BE550 Pro broadband router to replace a Netgear router that was no longer being supported. I used the NYTime's Wirecutter ratings to select TP-Link and this particular router. This TP-Link router has turned out to be a great buy. It was easy to setup, and the Admin interface to the router's settings is greatly superior to any previous router I have had. An added value is the excellent TP-Link Customer Service that worked diligently with me to setup some Advanced features on this router.
For the price, straightforward functionality, and superior customer support, TP-Link's broadband routers are the best buy.

I bought tp link ax1800 archer tx20u plus and when first plugged in and installing the driver, only way I can describe it is that it destroyed my computer. First restart as instructed by manual went into boot loop and blue screen. Trying to uninstall the driver froze up and blue screened. Rebooting had to be forced and sometimes every other usb connected device would fall asleep totally. Customer service was horrible, because the chat closes after six minutes, and with to link device acting like a parasite on my system, some questions took long to answer so the chat closes, and you need to bring the next service person up to speed, and do the things they want for troubleshooting no matter I've done them several times already. It doesn't help that even tho sending files via chat is an option, it doesn't work on android phone so I couldnt send any files. It took 5 hours for the customer service to admit it's their fault and I got a product recall, and now as I'm writing this, I'm just taking a break from fixing my computer from the mayhem this damn thing inflicted on it for three hours now. That boot loop remained and I can't even restart in safe mode anymore. I got windows 10 with Arock b450 pro4 motherboard and this device acts like a virus on it.
