I was left TPG after 11 years as I found a better offer from another nbn service.

Unfortunately tpg said I had to wait 30 days before my nbn could be disconnected.

I contacted them a week later and 2 consultants said my nbn connection would be cancelled in 48 hours and was sent confirming emails.

But it never was so I decided I would never return to tpg again.

Fortunately I am an on an unlimited data and mobile plan with a different service.

So i was able to immediately connect all my devices and save myself the monthly fee of $145 per month or $1740 per year.

Regardless of there 30 day disconnection policy.

The TPG - 5G Internet saga continues. TPG sends me the modem - getting only 12 Mbps downloads, instead of 100Mbps paid for & advertised. (I live close to town & in a great reception area). TPG Technicians ringing me for 2 days & running all sorts of tests - whole weekend wasted ! Still same low speeds. Even ran speed tests outside the house - same low speeds. Vodafone cellular tower obviously can not support the speeds claimed by TPG. They were prosecuted for the same deceptive advertising by ACCC in the Federal Court of Australia in 2021. Still going on with their scam ? Time for another ACCC complaint ! Look for another, reputable provider !
