Don't waste your money. This thing really is a complete heap of cr**. The app stopped working on my samsung S4 within a week of loading it and refuses to reload or up date. In the week I did have the app the device was completly unreliable. Sometimes refusing to see the tracker even when in the same room. When outside the range was very short and you could physically see the tag before the phone did.

They dont react to you e-mails whatsoever. Never got the product. No refund nothing

I need help and want to talk to a real person. The web page to schedule an appointment always says there are no appointments available.. there are no other options. I will never buy another TrackR
Since writing this TrackR called and explained their appointment service was being revised. Would have been nice to know on the web site!

They are useless and the battery doesn’t last a week!

If I could I would give less than 1 star. Dishonsest, deceitful and makers of. it seems. pretty shoddy products. Interestingly still doing a roaring trade on Indiegogo who appear to have no interest in alterting crowdfunders of the modue operandi of this disgraceful company

Linked to my phone and it worked, Put it on our dog when we were away from home. I would link it to my phone but all it would ever show for location was our home where I first linked it. The web sight was hard to navigate. Ideal is great product is not, I would say save your money.

Horrible company with terrible customer service. You get these devices thinking they're going to find your things for you. For a while, it does. And then it stops working. I've bought several of these and know others who have them too--they all stop working after a few weeks. Mine lasted several months, but now it can't find my keys when I'm holding them in my hand. It's also stopped playing noise, so I can't even find them when they're just kicked under my bed. Additionally, even when you keep the app on in the background and replace the batteries regularly, your lost item rarely shows up on the map and often will simply say that it's "home." I've lost several things with Trackr and it's only help me find my keys when they're under the couch. There's only a 30-day money-back guarantee and you have to pay for shipping for refunds. I'm getting a Tile instead. These are terrible. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

It is almost impossible to change the battery on a TrackR Pixel. Videos show an easy method using the palm of your hand. It does not work once the Pixel has been used. Another video suggests using double sided tape. That does not work either. I have had to attempt to change two batteries today and in both cases I have utterly failed. In one case the Pixel was ruined (a waste of some $15). In the other case I could not reconnect to the Pixel! They were wonderful until the batteries ran out. Mine were purchased on 14th November last year and delivered early December, so battery life appears to be about 6 months!

5 bravo trackrs broke after 3 months. Customer service couldn't help. They're sending new ones, but I expect the same thing will happen again.

Don’t bother buying them !!! I have had several of theses devices for 2 years and not once have they worked when I needed them. Either the device has to be turned off daily because the batteries are always dead and I feel it’s a 100% waste of money !!

Well, wish I had read these reviews before I tried to buy ! Says it all. I never actually got the delivery so Ive no idea if the product actually works or not....chased and chased, eventually told it was heading back to the USA after it had apparently been in the soring office 2 miles from my home....still couldn't make it the last leg.....so I say good riddance to them. Really really poor, be warned !!

Be aware if you place an order outside the U.S. you WILL have £26 customs fee to pay on top of the original p&p. The Post Office and DHL will not return the parcel without further expense so you will not receive your item and will not get a refund from TrackR as “these fees are set by your government’s tax laws and are the responsibility of the buyer” and “that is why we make sure to always provide … a reminder during check-out … that customs fees may apply.”
 
They will however “apologise for the frustrations.”

I wrote a comment including this feedback on its Facebook page and was subsequently blocked. Nice.

Bought 4 at Brookstones...and have not been able to get any of them to work! Two of them had flat batteries already from the start. I am so frustrated I did not read these reviews before. 80 USD down the drain...!

I thought these would be a good thing for lost devices or even to attach to the dog. But unless you're literally within 5 fee line of sight for what you're trying to find it's completely useless. I thought I knew so much better when reading the bad reviews. Ordered direct from the States and got clobbered with a duty invoice as well. Do not waste your money on this garbage, buy a keyring from Poundland, it'll do the job just as well.

Bought 4 of these. Initially no issue connecting to (android) phone. First prob was when needed battery was flat - after 3 months !!
Next time needed totally failed to locate despite being in a main town showing massive no's of users.
As of last update batteries last 2 days - yes 2 DAYS map is 8 mm ribbon. Explanation is that worked on apple !!! Given that anyone with any tech savvy uses android - and most people in Europe do so, this is a pretty poor excuse. If you are designing something for the USA market then you should say so.

What I received is not what I saw in the advert. FIND ITEM ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD??? AS LONG AS IT IS 3 FEET FROM YOU. Stay away, don't waste your time and money. Not worthed, I could have spent £1.99 on a gig tracker and got a better device.

The claim that the batteries will last a year is totally false. Even after checking and double checking features that should conserve battery life I have failed repeatedly to get more than 2 months from the battery and the chances are, certainly in my case, that they’ve failed just when you need to use the device.
This is a major failing in the device, and the claim of a one year life should not be used in any advertising and should be replaced by a more honest claim.

I purchased 10 of these not only are they garbage. I only received 8 despite 10 being paid for and declared on the HM customs documents so paid tax for all the 10 before I received the 8 TrackR’s. I Contacted Trackr who sent the missing items, great but for one thing I had to pay *£11.64 handling & custom charge to receive the missing 2. I put TrackR’s on my dogs only to fined that as soon as the dogs were out of sight the Trackr loses Bluetooth connection so can’t locate the dogs . As for the engraving this useless as they engraved them incorrectly and to top it all the battery’s were half empty.
*The £11.64 I incurred because Trackr dispatch department could not count , Tracker offered to pay pay only 50% of the import tax their carriers Post office charged a tax handling Fee of £8

In November 2016 TrackR sold me a TrackR Atlas which turned out to be in development. They never sent the product, and I have been trying to get a refund for over a year. They keep making promises to do so but failing on these too. What a terrible company - avoid them like the plague.
