Wow, what a bad company. Avoid Avoid Avoid

Beware this is the incorrect trust pilot account for traderadiators.com they use the other account linked to trust pilot. Use this company at your peril. This company is not good. Yes they are cheap. But alas with cheap comes cheerful. Second radiator I ordered from this company. Second one to come damaged. Luckily with the first one it was spotted within the three days and as per their T&C's and they replaced it eventually after a battle. The second one, well the damage could not be spotted until it was on the wall and the light reflected off the chrome to show a large dent. By then their three days had expired. Now with a reputable company they will replace an item no problem hence why they are reputable and regarded as such. Not with this company. Phone the dreaded female operative on customer services to complain and then hear the wrath of Thor be bestowed upon you. Her favourite terms are ' you haven't got a leg to stand on' and ' you're clutching at straws' when you merely mention if you have rights to a replacement under the Consumer Rights Act. She claims to know the law but clearly doesn't and when you explain she gets abnoxious, aggressive and well pretty much damn right rude. Then to top it off slams the phone down on you. It's safe to say customer services with this company has left a lot to be desired. The negative feedback on here is testamont to this. Luckily I have a consumer rights lawyer in the family and can pursue my claim by other means. Those of you who don't probably best to shop elsewhere or just hope they change their policy on customer relations.

NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

An ok product accompanied by LIES and APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Here are the facts of my experience.
They offer the option to request a smaller delivery vehicle if there is restricted access; I made the request. I received an email confirming my request.
A delivery date was agreed.
On the day:
• I received a phone call from Trade Radiators to say that the driver was at my property but no one was in. (There was someone in … the driver was at the wrong property – not even the same road!)
• I was advised (in the same call and in a dictatorial tone) that there was a £75 charge for delivery on another day.
• I received a call from the delivery driver to say that he had been outside my property for almost an hour but there was no one there. (There was someone in … the driver was at the wrong property – not even the same road! Starting to sound like a farce?)
• On a subsequent call I was then advised that there was some in but they had no knowledge of any radiators being delivered. (The driver was at the wrong property – not even the same road! Is this starting to sound familiar?!)
• I phoned Trade Radiators; as far as they were concerned there was no one at the property! Their Ts & Cs state that ‘Should there be no one available to sign for goods, a card will be left with a telephone number of your local depot who can be contacted to arrange a redelivery to your address at a mutually agreeable date.’ As you will probably have guessed, there was no card left. (The driver was at the wrong property – not even the same road!)
• I contacted the courier directly. They had received no request to deliver using a smaller vehicle. And when I gave the address, the courier stated that there is no way their 16 ton vehicle could have got anywhere near my property. And … wait for it … when I mentioned the ‘threat’ of another delivery charge of £75 (because I was not in), it was suggested that that seemed like a scam as the courier was only paid £15.
• I phoned Trade Radiators again. They really didn’t like to think that they were in the wrong (!!!!!!!!!!). They said they would contact the courier. I never heard from them again.
• I phoned the courier. They advised delivery would be made the following morning on a smaller van, and that the driver knew where the house was.
• That evening I received a call from the courier company to say that I could collect the radiator from an industrial estate 26 miles away!
The next day:
• The following morning I received a call from the driver asking for directions to my house! And when I gave the directions the driver stated that there is no way their 16 ton vehicle could get there. (I thought it was supposed to be a smaller delivery vehicle!)
• Fed up by now, my plumber and I drove to where the driver was prepared to stop his 16 ton truck and we took the radiator off his van. A nice guy. He stood and watched us unload it. Trade Radiators were oblivious.
And lest I forget, the radiator was missing a valve, so back again to Trade Radiators to send it … they did so, somewhat begrudgingly in my opinion – as if they didn’t trust me. Laughable! The implication given to me by Trade Radiators was that the valve would be received the next day … of course it wasn’t (and of course I wasn’t surprised).
Time to summarise. Throughout the experience I was made to feel that I was in the wrong. The facts indicate that Trade Radiators resemble the Key Stone Kops. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. They are incompetent and arrogant. I would have told them directly but quite frankly they really didn’t want to hear what the customer was saying. And as a potential customer, you wouldn’t know of my experience unless I posted it here.
It would seem appropriate to point out the customer service pitch on Trade Radiator’s web site: 'We fully appreciate the importance of fantastic customer service … Our staff … are always prepared to go that extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction'. Wake up and smell the (radiator) paint!
At the end of the day the choice is yours. For me the bottom line is obvious … NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

Terrible customer service - rude and anonymous

I ordered a large radiator from this company which was delivered by a one man delivery team. The radiator was so heavy that the delivery driver refused to bring it into the house - he left it on the doorstep.

The radiator was dented in transit but the damage was not noticed by me or my plumber until the radiator was fitted. I was unable to unpack and inspect as it was too heavy to lift by myself into the house.

When I contacted Trade Radiators to discuss a replacement, I was referred immediately to their T's & C's by an anonymous customer services representative.

After several anonymous emails back and forth I eventually received a phone call from a rude Scotsman who kept interrupting me and talking over me to refer me back to the T's & C's.

I now have a £300 bit of scrap metal bolted to my living room wall and Trade Radiators simply don't care - they have my money now and have no intention of helping me any further.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this company.

Bad service. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Wasted two days waiting on a delivery only for a radiator to arrive with lots of bare metal showing (bad powder coating), chips and cracks, it was also twisted.

Wasted another day when they said they would collect, which they did not.

Wasted another day regarding the redelivery.

Still no radiator.

Seems like its all my problem.

Avoid.

Poor product even poorer service

The product delivered was not as described and of a poor finish. The company refused to stand by any statutory requirements on a number of levels. The customer services manager was rude and misinformed. One email actually contained slanderous and fictitious comments she claimed We had made. We have never delt with such a nun professional company. Buyer beware.

Will not be using again!

I ordered a radiator on the 10th June and received a call later that day to advise I had given the wrong postcode. After apologising and giving the correct details, I was advised that as I had missed the delivery for the following day, I would receive it on the 12th. After receiving no order on the 12th, I rang customer services to be told (again) that I had provided the wrong details. I advised that I had already spoke to a customer services rep and that delivery was supposedly scheduled for today. I felt the customer services rep was rather rude and made me feel like I was an inconvenience for calling. She told me that she would call me back regarding a new delivery date, however, I never received a phone call. Instead I was sent an email stating the radiator would be delivered on the 18th (a week after the original order was placed). Delivery was received by a tradesman working at my house and unfortunately, as I have a newborn baby, I was unable to get to my house until the following week where I checked the radiator and found it was damaged. I called Trade Radiators immediately to enquire if a replacement was possible but was told that because I had not checked it within the 3 day window from delivery, they were not prepared to replace the radiator and I was reminded these were the Terms and Conditions I had accepted upon payment. I appreciate these terms and conditions are in place, but a little compassion wouldn't have hurt, especially when I didn't kick up a fuss over the week wait for delivery, despite advertisement of 24hr delivery, which subsequently I would have been available to receive and check myself. Very sadden to have almost £200 of my money taken from me and damaged goods sent in replacement. I have never had such a problem with any of the other companies I have ordered from with all damaged goods being replaced with no problems whatsoever. I shan't be using this company again which is a shame as I have another 6 radiators to order.

BAD SERVICE products are good, but no customer care and they lie and are rather rude

They delivered to the wrong address even though the address was correct, I spent all day waiting for the delivery and even rang twice and they insisted I would get them! I asked if I should cancel the plumber who was due the next day and advised not too and that they would arrive!!!! Yes you can guess no radiators and a plumbers bill. When I spoke to the company the promised to look into it and for me to send the bill onto them! Then after one month has passed basically called me a lier and that they delivered it to my house and I wasn't in! The sad thing is there is nothing I can do about it! Looking on other sites other customers have had the same experience of their after care, wish I'd read them before ordering!,,,

Lets hope people read this before ordering, be very careful if ordering from this company!

other internet traders - take note of trade radiators' practices.

They advertise free UK mainland delivery but then send an email requesting an additional 30.00for delivery. Another internet scam.

They made a mistake and so did I - cancelling my initial order. However, I then received a call from management to apologise so, I re-submited my order and it arrived within 24 hours. Customer service at these exceptional levels deserves reward.
