TradeSea is an excellent platform, but there are some things that need adjusting: it sometimes freezes on mobile devices, the app is a bit heavy, and when I place an order on a small contract, there's a huge spread resulting in an immediate $100 loss! All of this needs fixing!

Reply from Tradesea
That platform really needs improvement.
There is no way that you put automatic stop loss and take profit and when you add contracts for a trade it opens the trade with twice or 3 times the original stop loss. + Break even dosent exists in that platform. You put BE in profit even slightly and once hit you see your position closed, it’s in negative P&NL. Lucid trading should switch “broker”

When i entered a position my fill would be on an area that the candle hasnt been touched yet-a price area that was last hit like 5 minutes ago. stupidly bad fills and i didnt even realise until i saw my PNL at negative 2k and caused me to blow my account.

I entered a trade and was instantly down $5,000 with no market movement whatsoever. Nothing happened in the market. I just opened a position and was immediately in the red.
The reason was that TradeSea never updated to the new contract, so I was unknowingly trading on an outdated one with completely wrong pricing. Their price was also around 30 points below the real market price at the exact same time and there was nothing on the platform to warn me. No alert, no restriction, nothing.
When I raised this, TradeSea said they posted a warning in their Discord. That's not good enough. Traders can't be expected to monitor a chat server while they're actively trading. If there was a known problem this serious, entries should have been blocked on the platform itself. A Discord message that some people may never even see is not a warning.
To show how bad this was, the maximum loss allowed on my account was $2,000. The pricing error alone caused a $5,000 loss, double the limit, before I could do anything about it. All 4 accounts were gone in seconds. Two of them weren't even copy traded so they were completely separate trades, same result. This was nothing to do with how I traded.
I wasn't the only one this happened to either. Multiple traders were hit at the same time.
I raised a support ticket and heard nothing for over 48 hours. The only thing I was told was to contact their Rithmic directly. Directing me to Rithmic is not a resolution. I am your customer, not Rithmic's. The responsibility for ensuring accurate pricing and contract management on your platform sits with TradeSea.
I'm glad you're fixing the communication gap going forward, but that doesn't address what has already happened. I'd like to know what TradeSea intends to do for the traders who lost accounts due to this failure, as Lucid are waiting for you to reach out to them regarding people who were affected.
The least you can do is reach out to me directly so this can be resolved and so that my full details can be passed over to Lucid Trading so this can be properly reviewed and compensated. I want a real answer on what is being done for the traders affected, not another apology or a redirect.
Please reach out to me directly as a matter of urgency.
I've now been banned from the discord for asking to have my ticket urgently escalated.

Worst trading platform with the worst fills, lagging, buffering, and all kinds of glitches. I have a powerful Xfinity internet connection, so the buffering had nothing to do with my internet.
I recently lost an account because each time I clicked to enter a trade, nothing happened. I clicked again and again; nothing. Then suddenly, everything popped up at the same time on the screen, and I was in three 2NQ trades! That was a total of 6NQ trades and SL not being respected.
The platform's "Daily Profit Target" (PDPT) setting doesn't work. I had set it at $1,520, and my trading ended up exceeding that limit and shot up to almost $1,800. That was indeed annoying because that amount well exceeded the $1,500 consistency rule I was targeting for the day.
The copy trading function does not work either. The "Leader" and "Follower" accounts on the platform were already pre-populated with two inactive accounts, and I was unable to replace them with the active accounts that I had.
I submitted my complaints to Tradesea five days ago along with a video of the issue. Initially, they closed the ticket the next day, claiming the issue had been resolved. I responded to reopen the ticket because nothing was resolved; I still could not set up copy trading. I asked them to check the backend and resolve the issue. I haven't heard from them again.
I decided to forget about the platform, and I have since transitioned to Quantower - so goodbye to Tradesea. Fix your software!
I do not recommend Tradesea to anyone at this time.
Update 03-28-2026:
As a follow-up to your response, I would like to state that the last email I sent to Tradesea's support team three days ago, in furtherance of their request for more information, did not receive any response till now.

So far their mobile platform is broken. How can you be up 100 ticks and negative 40 in p&l with 1 micro. On PC, the dom doesn't match the current price, play with caution! Until they fix mobile app I won't trade. The sell button appears broke(mobile), I get it its in beta

add size multiplier for copy trading please

EDIT 2 (Updated on 4/20/2026): TradeSea closed my ticket out this morning after TradeSea publicly stated this would be treated as a top priority and requested my ticket details. I provided everything requested and followed up multiple times. My ticket has now been closed without resolution, and I have not received any further responses despite repeated follow-ups. At this point, there has been no explanation that aligns with the trade data and no effort made to resolve or credit the losses. I would not trade with TradeSea if you copytrade. Their system is riddled with bugs & support will stop responding to you.
EDIT (Update on 3-31-2026): Since posting this review, TradeSea has provided multiple conflicting explanations for the same issue. Initially, I was told all accounts had the same P&L, then that a max loss limit was hit, then that a different account was the leader, and now that only one follower account hit a threshold. These explanations do not align with the actual trade data, where all follower accounts show identical P&L, identical trade sequences, and all stopped executing at the same time while the trading account continued operating normally. I have provided my ticket ID and am still waiting on a clear explanation and resolution. I will update this review if the issue is properly addressed.
I’ve been trading prop firms for over 5 years and am consistently profitable. I chose TradeSea specifically for their TradingView integration and copy trading capabilities. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. I run 5 accounts (1 leader, 4 followers). On a recent trading day, the leader account was profitable, while all 4 follower accounts were incorrectly closed out at losses of around -$600 each. These trades were not mirrored correctly, which completely defeats the purpose of using a copy trading system.
It gets worse. Their support team claimed all accounts had the same P&L (completely false), stated the leader account was negative (also false), and ignored screenshots clearly showing the leader account was profitable. They also claimed the follower accounts were closed due to hitting a max loss limit. This is not accurate. I previously had issues with that, so I fully disabled all max loss limits and stop losses on the follower accounts within TradeSea. I also provided screenshots from the prop firm dashboard confirming none of the accounts breached any limits.
The explanation simply does not hold up. The trades on the followers initially match the leader, but then the followers are force-closed at a loss while the leader account continues trading and finishes the day in profit. I have screenshots showing the leader taking additional trades after the followers were already closed out.
This is not a settings issue, it is a failure of their copy trading system. Instead of addressing the core issue, support continues to deflect and misrepresent what actually happened. This is not a minor glitch, this is a critical execution failure that directly caused losses across multiple accounts. If you are a serious trader, you cannot rely on inconsistent execution, you cannot trust a platform that ignores clear evidence, and you cannot risk multiple accounts on a system that does not properly sync trades.
I wanted this platform to work, but between the backend issues and how support is handling this, I am done using it. If this is made right, I will update this review accordingly. Until then, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Found on X the hype made me try Tradesea and my experience so far is really good.

Response: The platform has potential if it executed correctly. But it does not. The Rithmic explanation, well I have to strongly disagree with that. I use NinjaTrader and MotiveWave with Rithmic and I dont have the same issues. Its your platform. It is just not ready yet. I wish you the best in development, and I truly hope it becomes what the vision is. Your product is not trust worthy at the moment however. To keep saying it is a data problem, not the platform, is driving distrust and credibility issues. It is not ready for traders to use.....plain and simple. It should not be offered as an option by any firm, but that is another topic.
Original post: It's just not functional if you are a serious trader. Randomly closes or fills trades outside of your orders, closes positions immediately after fill, data is incomplete on the charts, end of day dash is never right to name a few. If they fix the issues then great. They will say it's a Rithmic problem, but I have been trading for over 20 and that is not
happening elsewhere. I am just disappointed. Go ahead and try it. Warning shared. You will learn the lesson if you do. Thank goodness it is only the price of an eval. I didn't blow the account, I just stopped trading. I was excited to try it with Lucid.

bad platform to trade with. At least for now.. it will cost you money to trade here. Implemented Copy Trader doesnt even work properly and support trying to blame you that you used a wrong order.. specific case: leader account hit full TP, while the follower didnt close position. (proper copy trader does everything to the followers what the leader does). On their FAQ you cant find nothing how to use their copy trader correctly...

I have been trading since last 3 years and trust me i have used a lot of prop firms and their platforms to trade, but tradesea is one of the best i have come across, easy interface and best thing is i dont have to worry about selecting contract, it selects the futures contract itself, hatsoff to the team, thanks

Pretty solid app, there are some things that can be improved but the product itself looks quite promising.

Trader friendly tool, extremely intuitive and easy to use. I like that you can see your pnl right on the chart as you’re trading, easy drag and drop TP and SL.
Lockout feature and built in copy trader are coming in clutch!

Great idea. On the right path. Problem is it's untradeable. The consistent lag and disconnection issues force me to refresh my browser every couple of minutes during ny session. I can't execute or follow my trades without having to refresh over and over all day long. It's disgusting.
Update: would love to have a debug session. I don't know how to reply so I guess i do it here.
2nd update: sent a few emails back and forth with support and they didn't even want to help. Would love to use this platform, but I will stick with quantower for now.

Just bought lucid accounts and tradesea cant even load the charts. Contacted lucid and they're putting the blame on tradesea platform. This is unacceptable. Charts, Dom, nothing is loading.
