Bought the TradeSmith programs - Steer clear

Bought the TradeSmith programs - Followed the guide to the letter. - Entered multiple trades, 100% loss rate. 8 trades of 4 months. Every single one was the "worst case scenario". Lost $4000 in addition to the $3000 the products cost.. - Spend money somewhere else. this is terrible.

I have tested their Predictive Alpha &…

I have tested their Predictive Alpha & its wrong a lot of the time.
I bought 1 subscription & cancelled on another and they wouldn’t give me back my money. I feel like they’re a scam and it’s just better to do your own research since the Internet is full of analysts on stocks and PE earnings don’t buy into this crap I won’t be renewing my subscription.

Don't fall for

They advertise AI-powered trading proposals, but it's so ineffective that the three stocks I bought based on their suggestion resulted in a loss of over 23%. Don't fall for this service; it's worthless.

Adam was a great help

Adam, (in Customer Service) patiently helped me set up my smart phone so I could receive timely text alerts. He also helped me set up my phone so I could use the TradeSmith app if unable to use my laptop. Adam's help was 1st rate. Huge waste of money.

I've been closely following the recommended stock and options trades for over a month. Net results? Of 12 trades that have closed, 11 were losers and just one winner. Of trades that are currently open, 2 are flat, 1 shows a gain, and 4 show a loss. Frankly, a dart-board approach would've been better. Plus, as a member, you'll be hounded with ~3 emails a day urging you to act now before such-and-such occurs. If their AI predictive algorithms were anywhere close to their marketing efforts, one might stand a chance of showing actual gains. Otherwise, it was a huge waste of $2,500! In addition to the approximately $10K I lost on their recommended trades. Buyer beware!

I wrote about the Trade Smith Super AI…

I wrote about the Trade Smith Super AI program and panned it. Lost $20,000 in a week. I received a reply telling me how markets are unpredictable. I am a sophisticated investor and totally understand and accept that. However, when their 100 or more points of review for years of a stock by their AI program, which, presumably, identifies probable future trends is entirely wrong for almost all of the stocks they recommended, there is simply no conclusion but that their program is lousy.

The Rich get Richer

Yes, I was one of the suckers that sat through more than a 2-hour webinar to hear how their magnificent AI algorithm system can give the average blue-collar joe the edge needed to succeed in the stock market. Luckily, when I was ready to plunk down $2,500 in cash to become a member where each week, I could receive the 5 top stock choices by AI of more than 2,000 stocks, my wife put her foot down and declared, "SCAM".

Not one to listen very well, I decided to test the waters by investing in their free tip to buy their #1 absolute highest percentage stock winner choice of;
CALL (GLW) CORNING INC NOV 07 25 $90

Go ahead and look it up. Not only did it miss the mark, but it did the exact OPPOSITE of what their mighty algorithm predicted. I lost it all.

Now, out of curiosity, I did the math and it's not hard to see how they more than likely made millions on convincing blue-collar people like myself to invest in their AI bullcrap scheme. Even though I lost what I consider a lot of money for our family budget, I'm definitely glad we didn't lose more by joining this joke of a membership. And for now, it's back to the grind of working extra hours to make up for my mistake. Lesson here; listen to your wife.

$2,500 down the drain.

I feel that I foolishly wasted $2,500 for the predictive alpha. I bought a small amount of the first 6 stocks and so far they have lost 17%. Now I can't even find those stock on their web site. The whole process is totally confusing and I am getting an avalanche of emails trying to sell me things. And each one requires you sit through long repetitive videos before you get any useful information. It almost seems as through their strategy is to blanket you with endless confusing options so you just give up. I originally saw a 90 day guarantee but that turns out to be totally bogus. If you want to cancel predictive alpha all you get is a credit to use on one of their other products. I am planning to call them today to cancel everything since I am Leary of them charging me again for something I accidently signed up for.

Thousands of dollars gone and not a word...

i have been paying tradesmith since 2022, haven't really used them much, started to use them for crypto.
I paid them $2k for something in July 2022.
i asked AI about them and they swore by them....not sure why....now i can't get any help, they just tell me i am suspended and that's it.
I have never experienced such terrible care.

Unable to cancel this horrible…

Unable to cancel this horrible subscription! At first look it looks too good to be true, they lead you to believe that you have access to this AI genius that makes you think it's going to give you access to at least make logical decisions for your investments. When you go to actually use it, it is so limited it's basically worthless. Then comes the upsell! They try to get you to send more and more money until it becomes just another SCAMM. on top of that they keep hammering your debit card for $29.00. If you call customer service, you will be placed on hold indefinitely, or you will have the option to not lose your place in line and they will call you back. They don't call so don't hold your breath. sent an email to customer service to cancel haven't heard back yet.
I hope that karma catches up.

Super AI

I spent 2+ hours listening to the sales pitch for Super AI (super annoying that they don't tell you in advance how long the presentation is going to be so you can plan around it but I patiently hung in there) . After that, I spent over an hour on the phone trying to get my questions answered. First half of that was waiting on hold only for someone to pick up who when they did could not answer any questions, only take orders, and transferred me to someone else.

Again, a long wait. When that person (Andrew?) finally picked up, he kept interrupting me, talking over me, rushing me, pushing for the sale and the upsale to $5000 for lifetime membership....but with little patience for listening to my questions and getting them answered-he'd just keep repeating what he'd said before like a script. . After a few minutes of that, and a few of my questions partially answered, he informed me that he had to move on to the 50 people waiting on hold, that he couldn't spend more than about 10 minutes on any call, explaining that he is in sales and this is how he makes his living...no time to make sure all my questions get answered.

WOW!! !!! Are you kidding me??

I said, you want me to spend $5000 and you don't want to take the time to answer all my questions? He gave me his direct line (which I can't find now) and told me to give him a call the following day and he would take the time IF he wasn't too busy; and if I didn't call by the end of the day he had it noted that he would for sure call me (which he did not). Well to me my time is extremely valuable too, and to be told that after spending over 3 hours trying to get the information, and then no follow through on following up is so extremely disrespectful of me and my time-not to mention how scammy this shows the operation to be, and how exploitative.

A good portion of my day was shot with this , but I am so glad now after reading the multiple bad reviews of this company. and what this experience showed me about this company, that at least I did not make this purchase. Judging from the reviews here, it looks like I dodged a bullet.

It is annoying too that this company even had my email in the first place and was sending me marketing emails. My info was apparently added or sold -without my consent- by Investor Place (who promotes and I understand owns Trade Smith) when I purchased a service with them about 6 months ago.

Thank you to all who took the time to write about your experiences-and especially about the AI system not working that well and difficulty accessing the product after purchase , poor results, as well as the horrible customer service, lack of transparency and of integrity.

How does a company like this stay in business???

TradeSmith are you learning anything from this?? Wouldn't it make more sense to change how you do business rather than having to back pedal/peddle and write replies to all the bad reviews after the fact? Why not prevent the bad reviews in the first place by having a forthright reputable company with effective products rather than a predatory scam operation ?

And who the heck is Keith Kaplan anyway and why should I trust him? There is very little to no information or transparency on his background or track record other than self reported many years experience as a trader and back tested results.

One more important thing is I think it would be a very good thing to have someone who is knowledgable other than a salesperson available to answer questions about a product so a would be customer can make an informed decision before making a very large and irrevocable purchase under time pressure. Otherwise, makes one wonder, what have you got to hide? A lot it seems.

Very sketchy company and the worst customer service

I paid for a subscription to the AI system today 10/15/2025 and then I tried to access the account but NON of the promised bonuses and the freebies were there and I did NOT have access to anything in the account so I called customer service who never answered and the line was disconnected by trade smith customer service and they hung up on me . Then I called the sales line and I had the rudest person on the line who kept arguing with me and cutting me off and interrupting me and speaking over me and he was NOT HELPFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL and very rude and still did NOT get any help and non of the issues were resolved and I still have NO access to anything of the promised bonuses which were the reason that I subscribed . This to looks like I was scammed by trade smith LLC FOR 2500 dollars plus the tax so around 2700 dollars . I tried to get my money back and cancel the subscription since it’s only been a few hours since I paid but trade smith customer service person said NO refunds and they can only give a credit refund that I can use to subscribe to their other tools on their website. This is the worst scam that I have ever encountered by any company . This is a very sketchy company and once they get your money there is NO customer service or support and no professional support and I do NOT recommend this company and its services not even to my worst enemies . I will be complaining to the FTC and the better business bureau and the attorney general consumer protection agency . And also the the CFPB .
I will do my best to get my money back to my credit card and NOT a credit refund as they offered which I have NO use for because I will NEVER deal with this low class scammer company . I want my money back to my credit card and I will go through all the legal channels to get it back .

I still tried to call customer service several time but with NO response and no one picked up . I also emailed the trade smith customer service and they called me and REFUSED to refund me my money and so now I am out of 2500 dollars and a subscription that is worth nothing not even one penny . I RECOMMEND THAT YOU STAY AWAY from trade smith LLC and save your money because the system that they are promoting is not worth anything and is NOT accurate and gives false price predictions. Unlike what they claim
Stay away and save your money because one you pay them you will never see one cent back from these scammers and fraud company

This is my second go round with these…

This is my second go round with these guys and neither have been particularly good. The latest event involves options and for the first week or so of membership, all I could get on the call side was European style stuff. Called and got eventually got some help and I proceeded to log out, then log in, and decided to try the put side. Lo and behold, two American options and the rest were European. Huh?? This would be great if I lived in Europe, unfortunately I live in eastern USA. These guys seem interested in one thing and one thing only, that is extracting money from your wallet and putting it in theirs. Their customer service is just OK, and the products as far as I can tell are also ok. For the price one pays, they should be great, they're not. Caveat emptor.

Without Question

Unprofessionally high hidden charge will make you a feel of fraudulence

During taking their Seasonality subscription, the payment it showed was $199. However the transaction amount which was requested was $236.81. They payment page was very unclear with no clear breakdown of the amount which definitely proves that its an unprofessional company.

Fortunately my card declined the transaction considering it as a suspicious activity. Thanks to my card provider company who already flagged Trademith.com.

The difference you saw between the $199 subscription price and the $236.81 charge was due to sales tax being added at checkout. Tax amounts vary depending on the state you are purchasing from, which is why the final amount can differ from the base subscription price.
