I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. This is one of the most greedy companies out there. They are exactly what’s wrong with the world today.

Until a few days ago, under strategy tester, you could see important trade details for free – like how many of your long trades were profitable, how many short trades were profitable, the Sortino ratio, etc. Now they put all of that behind a paywall.

I can’t wait for this company’s downfall. It feels inevitable.

One of the most frustrating companies…

One of the most frustrating companies to be subscribed to. And on looking through these reviews, nearly every single one is negative & experiencing the same issues with poor service, lack of functional support & obstructive behaviours. How can a business treat its customers like this. Absolutely unbelievable.

You can’t email them, you can’t phone them, you have to go through hell & high water to even get a support ticket raised, and even that is after you’ve paid for a plan. I was a subscriber, my bank card renewed so they told me the payment was rejected. I tried to contact them after uploading new card details and still having rejected payment, but hit a brick wall and couldn’t find out what was going on. Their chat bot is quite simply poor. It tries to suggest the reason you’re contacting them for you, but actually doesn’t address the issues. I’ve never know such difficult contact procedures for company that I make payment to, I’m a client of, I’m a subscriber of. Poor poor poor service at every turn.

Further, their platform is so unstable. Constantly losing the sign in, on the site & on the app. As a short term trader of volatile stocks, being kicked out mid trade has cost me a small fortune. And I’m paying for that instability.

I’m not a fan of my brokers platform so I use TradingView, but if another option comes available that I can get on with, I will most certainly take it without hesitation & I would advise others to - I have literally no reason not to.

This is not a good service, it just a service. They should do much better.

The broker claimed I 'owed' the platform money due to unauthorized leverage and threatened me with legal action unless I paid the 'debt' to release my capital. It’s a calculated scare tactic to keep you from asking questions. I didn't fall for the intimidation and let

NO Tick customization even at $2400/yr

In order to get "tick" charts you need their highest plan and that's fine, but then you pay to only find out they purposfully don't support "custom" tick intervals for retail traders. Max interval is 1000 ticks which is useless and the reason for this review is they do it on purpose so that ONLY their partners get access to this data. If you trade with one of their partners like "TopStep" who exclusivily uses Tradingview charts you can easily set custom tick intervals like 5000 ticks. So why not allow your retail customers this option? Things done on purpose have a purpose. At $2400 a year you should clearly state in the price chart BEFORE someone upgrades that you do not give them the same Tick customization to retail traders as you do for your partners.

They changed the service in the middle…

They changed the service in the middle of my subscription. I paid for a full year and still have 7 months left, but now they’re forcing users to upgrade to the highest-tier plan just to keep features that were already included. Time to look elsewhere. This feels like the perfect setup for a class action lawsuit.

Not perfect but not too bad…

Honestly it’s difficult to understand if you’re using the site wrongly at times. It’s good when it’s working well but it does take some time especially for a new trader.

Their website is maybe good as per many traders and almost all of the platforms uses their chart to analyse, but their account managers are really pathetic and don't know how to speak with account holders. they don't have knowledge of market and no ethics to how to talk to people.

I wish there were competitors

TLDR: support is terrible and pinescript moderators will make everything to force you to leave TradingView
TradingView is a perfect example of why having a healthy competition on the market is a very good thing for customers. Because it forces companies to treat customers with respect and hear them as otherwise customers can pay to competitors. However if there is nowhere customers can go then the company can do whatever they want with you knowing that you don't have options. Some kind of modern slavery. Well done TradingView.

They don't offer customer support

This company is just a poorly written AI that collects your money. God forbid you EVER have any problems with the site, there is not a single actual human working there. It is entirely run by AI that will trap you in endless loops and never solve your problem.

These people are not the kind of people…

These people are not the kind of people to be trusted. They have some shady policies and behaviours that can make you stay poor. This is a genuine experience with 100% proof of privacy invasion. It started through MMS spyware sent to my phone (also Known as StageFright CVE2015) some years back, after I did factory reset because my pinescript was being edited by an unknown person while Iam also working on it. I disabled my SIM from recieving messages, after some days, a 31.72 MB .mov file was downloaded into my phone from tradingview website in my chrome browser without my consent, I still have the video, I also took a screeshot with the website address showing, They probably know its me typing this. The video was made by an unknown person pointing their phone camera on a screen (Laptop or TV) that shows a photoshopped image of the words "Lotus Communication", "K.I.R.N 670am", "Anti Islam", "Shut Down", "Howard Kalmenson", with a photo of one live ammo (Bullet). There is also some comments by a bot saying 'FCC Lotus shut down K.I.R.N for illegal espionage operations causing chaos around the world and killing muslims'. I searched google about radio K.I.R.N and there is no evidence that they were shut down by FCC or caused any chaos, they are the only approved Iranian American cultural radio station in California. I want tradingview to explain to me why they sent me the video and which connections do I have with Iran, K.I.R.N radio or Anti Islam, I want tradingview to explain why they always render my private indicators unprofitable for over 3 years of persistent spying and monitoring. I now use a firewall that shows me logs of every app in my phone, RATS (Remote Access Trojans) named "1021" or "0" are downloaded without my consent, and they access the code artifacts links of the A.I appications that help me to code profitable scripts.
After saving a good script in Pine editor, what follows after a minute or two is a chart refresh (It always happens whenever I save a profitable script), the changes have already been done by the standby hacker at the backend, whose sole duty is to make sure people's life remain miserable. This is the same pattern I have experienced for over 3 years. After my chart refreshes without me refreshing it and without any internet interruption, my indicators will start to repaint aggressively, reacting to price movements faster and i lose money trading. Sometimes the signals will change and become distorted. My code remains intact, unlike before when it was edited directly. I understood that these people can change the OHLCV (Open, High, Low, Close, Volume) data feed from any chart on their platform to distort your indicator without modifying your script, and with Firebase installations, only your chart data may be affected. A Firebase is a Google-backed "Backend-as-a-Service" (BaaS) platform that allows developers to build, manage, and scale web and mobile applications quickly without managing server infrastructure. I think thats how they manage paid users from free users.
The video file downloaded to my phone was titled "South32".mov, this may also indicate that the standby hacker is a sad bigot that attacks people based on their geo political zones in a country, and 32 may signify that Iam the 32nd person from the Southern part of the country that is in his list of surveillance.
This person is a sadist, I have never seen such people in my life, and maybe the CEO of tradingview is unaware of what they do to with privacy of users of their platform.

I urge everyone that use this platform, especially if you write your own scripts, to install a Firewall app and anti virus for maximum protection, or look for another better platform with integrity and respect for users privacy and data. If a hacker gains access to your device, a stealthy rootkit/bootkit can be embedded in your phone, spying on you from operating system level without traces, bypassing any Firewall, VPN and anti virus apps.

There is another app feature that I suspect but wont talk about it here. App wont work without it.

From my experience, I think everything narrows down to billing and income:
1. Free indicators are garbage.
2. You must be qualified to become an indicator vendor.

The policies are too intense.

All Iam requesting is for these people to stop making my life miserable. Iam a single and poor man trying to make some money to make my life and family better and comfortable.

Watch out! They are SCAM!

They will charge you even though you have cancelled and they will sent you bills without any information about how to get in touch with them. And off course from a "no reply" email. This is a scam company. STAY AWAY!

can do better

don't get me wrong , I think its a great website but the sole fact that they lack competition is why I hate them because to be honest we have been complaining and nothing has been done . how many times have we said fix the lag. how many times have they advertised new stuff like educational or something new they added instead of fixing what they already made. its like an unoptimized game constantly getting the wrong updates. they can fix all this but won't

Terrible customer experience.

Terrible customer experience.

My account was wrongly treated as if I were a professional trader, even though I am a private individual. The app was effectively blocked without warning, and I was left unable to use a service I pay for.

I followed the requested steps and even changed the payment method, but my account still remained locked for more than 24 hours. No proper urgency, no real ownership, no acceptable solution.

Blocking a paying customer without warning and then failing to resolve it quickly is simply unacceptable. This caused unnecessary stress and real damage.

I cannot recommend this service based on this experience.

Locked out of my paid account — then told to pay more to get back in.

I’ve been a paying TradingView subscriber for years. Without warning, their automated system flagged me as a “professional user” and locked me out of my own charts. I am a retail trader. I do not work for any firm, I am not registered with any regulatory body, and I trade solely with my own capital for personal use.
I contacted support multiple times. They couldn’t tell me what triggered the flag, wouldn’t conduct a manual review, and their only solution was to upgrade to their most expensive “Ultimate” plan — nearly triple the price.
So their system makes an error, locks you out of a service you’ve already paid for, and then demands more money to fix their mistake. That’s not a technical glitch. That’s a business model.
I’ve filed a chargeback with American Express, reported them to the App Store, and I’m pursuing further action. If you’re considering TradingView, know that your access can be revoked at any time based on an algorithm — with no meaningful appeals process and no accountability.
