I am a 30+ year financial advisor and have dealt with many many insurance and annuity companies. Transamerica Life and Annuity has the absolute worst customer/agent service in the industry. Simple tasks require repeated phone calls and going through both AI and human verification only to have your issue go unresolved. I will never use them again for any product.

I called about my life insurance company and the lady took the time to explain how much my policy is and helping me to make sure my policy was paid up and I was extremely happy for her taking the time and patience with me if I had a company it definitely be on her team

The rep on the phone knew exactly what I was requesting and about my concerns from the previous experiences and this time, everything was very smooth and no delay.

Representative was helpful in answering my question…but question stems from my electronic payment not being turned off; even tho an earlier phone call rep said it would be canceled.

Finally the partial surrender that I requested was credited to my account. It took quite sometime as I have to call several times to submit the application and to know the process. Made follow ups and submitted docs needed. Then one time when I called up they said need to submit my application again as they have received the notary for my signature. After resubmitting docs needed after a week got my partial surrender.

I have been paying a loan by mail. Recently one was returned undeliverable by post office supposedly wrong P O Box. I called to find out why. Representative was very patient with me because I did not make myself clear about the loan. He thought it was the monthly payment for the life insurance. Once I realized my error of complaint, I apologized and he said the P O Box was correct. I recent it and had no problem for the next two payments sent. They went through with reasonable time.

I sent a request to Transamerica to cancel my policy and I filled out all the papers required and sent it to the email Tii.customer.com and when I called customer service nobody new my policy had been cancelled and didn’t know anything at all. Complete miss communication between departments.

The call was fine, it was the fact that you had my surrender form since June 5th and now it is is June 26th and I still have not received my money. If I had not needed the money so bad I would have never surrendered. I’m a 70 year old senior with my car broke down and pets that need food, but you would rather drag your feet and draw interest on the money I desperately need
