Avoid!
Transdek Ltd - Domain Transdek.com carried out an installation of a flat goods platform lift for 4x4 accessories & Tyres Ltd's new £1.5M warehouse in Leeming Bar, North Yorks. The lift was plagued with issues from the start, not lifting evenly on all corners. A make do and mend fix was employed which worked in a fashion for a-while but still not lifting the platform evenly, later 4x4 Ltd paid an agricultural engineer to re-address some of the works Transdek had done after Transdek refused to do the works without charge. Transdek were not interested in attending FOC, they had long been paid and we were on our own! To set the scene the lift is approx 9ft x 7ft is used on average twice per day and carries less than 500kg's. Recently we have experienced further major issues and the lift is now 'out of order'. Transdek wanted £300 for a call-out visit just to diagnose the issues with their product, we emailed images and received a quote to replace all the lifting components - Not just one or two components but ALL of them .... Not great for a little used £30k lift !!!!
As if a product that wont last more than 5 years isn't bad enough they have no little or no interest in resolving. Let's remember they are supposed to make quality commercial products .... One would expect them to last 10 - 15 years ??? Certainly not require EVERY component to be renewed. I also emailed this review to Transdek 5-days before listing it here. Zero response. Well there's a surprise.
