I am a private practice Christian counselor/therapist serving clients in and around the Fort Mitchell, Alabama and Columbus, Georgia areas, as well as online. As your therapist, it is my priority to create a therapeutic atmosphere that promotes growth and positive change, for you. Therapy is a process that can move you toward being the healthiest version of yourself and living the life you desire. My approach to therapy is grounded in evidence-based practices, including: Psychodynamic/Supportive psychotherapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapies, Narrative Therapy, and the Primary Identity Approach for highly dissociative clients. I am also trained in Hypnotherapy and EMDR, which helps clients retrieve and reprocess suppressed and dissociated traumas. For specific PTSD events, I may utilize a newly developed method called TRP (Trauma Resiliency Protocol) and EMP (Emotions Management Process), which is fast and very effective at resolving and healing known PTSD events. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of successful therapy, and I strive to create a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. My ultimate goal is to empower my clients to reclaim their lives and live a fulfilling and meaningful life no matter what past experiences they have lived through and survived.See more
