Travads is a scam

Travads is a scam. Anyone that comes here to say anything else is a one of them and such person is a bastard. Unless I got my money back because I worked hard to make money. I don't do online reviews but for this I have no other choice so others will not fall a victim. Travads had dupped my $2,500.

I was skeptical in buying a domain but they were the one calling with Sweet mouth how domain will be sold in a week or with a month.

As soon as they got my money they never answer call anymore rather they will direct you to online robots to be answering your questions. No update and no one answers phone.
Since October 1, 2024 I was deceived up till today no one answered my calls anymore. Even the address they claim in US is fake they are not there. These people are fraudsters. Selling domain is just a way to cover up. These people are thieves and bastards. And this review will be here until I get my money.

Be careful before investing in Travads

Travads hmm
They take money under false pretense. They would sweet talk you in making you believe them, once they receive your alert, all means of communication is off, no follow up calls, no customer relationship, you would be the one making all the calls. You can call 10times the support wont answer you, if you call your admin and the call is becoming too much, they would pass the phone to another colleague to pass the time. i did mine on 7th June 2024 up till now no mews from them. Their office in Lagos got burnt, the new item 7 office, they now operate from home and they don't do follow up on their client, you will be calling them up and down. They would tell you to chat them up and the backend will be giving you hope every day. Till they pay me before i will believe them

Travads is a scam . Please be warned

Travads is a scam, I bought a domain almost 2 years ago despite their claim that it will be sold in weeks or months but up till now I have not heard anything from them. Worst part is that once you pay, you won’t get any feedback or updates from them. They are scammers

Travads obviously is deceptive and not…

Travads obviously is deceptive and not trustworthy. You convince people to invest their money, afterwards, no updates no feedback and when they post negative reviews, you call and patronise them to bring it down. I got the domain in March 2023 up until now, no mails, no texts, no chats, no updates. I will be waiting for your defence.

As a Stanbic staff, I was skeptical until Travads prove me wrong

I work with Stanbic IBTC, so trust me, I don't just throw money around. When I first heard about travads, I wasn't sure. The idea of buying a domain and waiting for someone else to sell it felt strange. I asked questions, delayed, asked again. Eventually, I decided to try just one domain, still half-doubting the whole thing.
To be honest, I didn't expect much. I started getting backend update calls, just updates...nothing more. Then I was told my domain had been sold and I saw the credit alert on my Stanbic account, not on any dashboard, but real money. That's when it clicked .

How patience with Travads finally paid off.

I got the domain from Travads, and they listed it for me right after. I still had doubts at first, but I kept getting a few update calls from their backend team so I decided to just wait ot out. The day the payment landed in my account, not just the dashboard, was the moment it became real for me. That's when I knew Travads wasn't just talk

TRAVADS IS COORDINATED SCAM! BEWARE!!!

I thought I had seen a good way to invest my money when I got to know about Travads in 2023. I was 70% skeptical about their genuineness from the beginning, after my conversation with one of their supposed staff in Lagos, Nigeria, named Hussain, and later a lady called Gift, according to her.

I got a couple of red flags after my questions with her- no company social media handle, no YouTube testimonials, no previous happy clients to hear from, and all that. I was really skeptical but I still decided to swallow my doubts and give it a trial since investment is risky itself.

After much persuasion and follow-up messages from them, I bought a premium domain worth $700 in March 2023 and after then, they asked me to make a video for payment verification purpose and send it to a US line on Whatsapp. From March 2023 until now, August 2025, the line is yet to respond. I am still going to take legal action agaisnt Travads concerning the video separately because I don't know what they did with my video. Since that time, no calls, no messages, no responses from them anymore.

When you even call them, they are so skillful in pretending that their network is bad or they tell you that your contact person in the company is not available... so skillful in these antics.

Even in July 2023, I posted my negative experience here and Travads called me to say I need to delete the review because it will work against the sale of my premium domain if a potential buyer looks me up online. I felt so stupid for them to have thought this unfounded scamming strategy would work on me but to play along, I deleted the review and waited for them. I am sure they do that to a lot of people too. Some may even have been pacified to speak good of them here. It's a scam!

Sometimes one wonders whether the people posting positive reviews about Travads here are humans or robots. THEY WERE EITHER DECEIVED OR PAID TO SPEAK GOOD OF THEM HERE.

Till now, from 2023 to 2025, nothing has happened! No message, no call, no response! No update! No sale! No money! TRUSTPILOT, TRAVADS is SCAM and they are professional at it.

Travads, don't bother to contact me to delete this review unless you are contacting me to refund my capital or pay me my ROI. You guys are so unrepentant and heartless for robbing people of their hard-earned funds.

I am coming for you guys now! Be ready for me!

One domain sold, One still waiting

I got two domains from travads. One sold and I got paid, so that gave me some confidence. The second one is still up, no offer yet.

At a point, I honestly felt like nobody was even checking on the progress. That part was frustrating. But lately, someone named Mike started handling my updates and I appreciate it.

I've had moments of doubt, but so far, my experience has been real, not in any way perfect, but not fake either.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I was promised that my domain would be sold within a maximum period of 3 months. Since August 2022 till date (almost 3 years) it hasn't been sold. Wicked misleading marketing gimmicks. I am terribly annoyed with such a useless company who tries to prey on the emotions of potential investors.

My unexpected win with Travads

I work with GTCO, so I'm used to deliverables, structure, and clear timelines. With Travads, it felt like the complete opposite. For a while, I thought I had just thrown my money away.
Then out of the blue, I got a message. Someone was ready to buy the domain. Before I could even overthink it, $ 42, 700 landed in my account.
That one deal settled everything

After waiting for more than 2 years, I'm yet to get answers

After waiting for more than 2 years, I have no other option than to relay my unpleasant experience with Travads. Imagine being scammed and never able to resolve the pending issues with my domain that was being sold at my back and then when it became obvious the team/backend staff offered another domain to replace my initial that had been sold. It has been one story after another, that the imposed domain has been placed for sale......I am still waiting and definitely running out of patience.

Why I'm still holding on to my first domain with Travads

I have a lot to say about Travads, I got 2 domains from them which was a big risk on my part, the first domain I got was for $2500, the second was for $3,500, one thing is that surprised me was that the one of $3,500 sold a few months after while the first one has not yet been sold. I have reached out to their backend team but they have assured me several times that the first one will still sell.
The wait period was not really exciting as I felt my money was gone, it ended up being ok when I got the pay for my second domain

Horrible Experience

In my own opinion, I honestly think this business is a scam. I haven’t had a positive reply since October 2023. I am wondering where the people that have been posting good reviews are from. Are you guys paid to give these reviews? I put up a bad review before, they reached out to me to delete it; this time around, no one should tell me to delete anything until you give me a positive feedback!
How can you tie down someone’s money for close to 2 years?

I had made a big mistake

When I got the domain from travads, I kept wondering if I had just thrown my money away, not in this tpain economy. I didn't fully understand the process, and the silence from their end didn't help either.

I work with Access Bank in Lagos, so I'm used to systems where you can track every step. With travads, it felt like I was just waiting in the dark.

Then out of nowhere, I got a message, someone was interested in the domain. I didn't even know how to react. Before I knew it, the sale was confirmed, and I was paid 10,200 dolls.

That one deal covered everything and left me peace of mind. Looking back now, I'm glad I didn't back out.
The wait was worth it.
