Scam company who don't reimburse you
Without prejudice. I booked a flight through Travelcheck.co.za for a flight between Seychelles and Mauritius in February 2020 and on 28 April 2020, I received a notification that Air Seychelles cancelled the flight, which subsequently was reimbursed to Travelcheck.co.za. In the intervening time between 2020 and now (April 2025), I have sent over 50 emails chasing my refund and have been lied to, or more recently completely ignored, and am still $550 USD out of pocket. This company have effectively stolen the restitution money from me, in contravention of their own terms and conditions and are nothing but thieves. I also have complained to the South African Tourist Board and feel as I'm still being ignored, my only option left is to publicly warn others to be aware that if your flight is cancelled you probably won't get your money back.
