Staff was lovely and transparent. But the comission rates are ridiculous. Later l noticed withdrawing money from the atm with my international card has been better way better than exchanging it here, l regretted it!

They are more concerned with covering themselves than actually helping you if have a medical emergency and a claim. I assume most of the people who purchased policies from them are elderly people…who are very confused especially while having a medical emergency. They make it nearly impossible to get help and get costs covered…I’m sure reimbursement is going to be a nightmare. Just like every other insurance company this is a scam and they try to pay as little as possible. Their service level does match what they advertise.

Very transparent about their prices and will even tell you if the exchange rate currency is good or not. I see another review complaining about their rates, but as mentioned, their prices are fully transparent. So if you don't like it, well go find another exchange, it's quite simple.

Always a great experience using this company. Honestly, everyone who winges about exchange rates needs to learn to ASK for a better rate. Don't just expect it. No company would be profitable if everything was discounted from the get go. The only gripe I have is that when returning home they aren't able to put your home currency onto your bank card.

Give Travelex the credit for doin what they say on the tin. If you need those cash before you travel, they are pretty much everywhere. However, if you are not converting foreign denomination cash, there are abundance of other players that can offer far better rates/fees for forex wires and travel money. The only players with worse rates are the high street banks.
