I purchased my flights from Travelgenio on the 20th May 2022 via Sri Lankan Airlines and was due to travel on June 30th however my UK visa was delayed for 4 months due to the Ukraine issue (Please refer flight ticket attached)

I contacted Travelgenio and cancelled the ticket as I did not know when the visa will be issued, this was accepted by the agent (cancellation no: CA-149161) with deductions and i was told it will take 14 weeks as this is how long it takes for the airline (Sri Lankan) to return the refund

In the interim of my 14 weeks and thereafter and after repeatedly looking on MyTrips (as this is the only platform to enquire or view) and mailing Travelgenio with no response (now 21 weeks) I could suddenly not get into MyTrips. On further investigation ie Facebook etc I found out Travelgenio in detail I found that they have now liquidated.
The money was returned into the Travelgenio account as I did see the account no, however within a few minutes this info disappeared off the screen
I wrote to my bank and Sri Lankan airlines both cannot help me and told me the I need to contact the Travel agent ie Travelgenio

It is now 2023 and I have still not received my refund

This company is in bankruptcy. Do not use them. We had been waiting for two years for compensation for canceled flights. My wife is a lawyer here in Spain and she was informed a couple of weeks ago by the court that any compensation from the complaint we filed will not be given because the company is in bankruptcy.

Travelgenio cannot be trusted! I've learned my lesson to never use them again. I booked my flight in July 2022, but in October 2022 I received an email informing me about the flight reschule times and days. That would mean that I would arrive to Thailand 3 days after the celebration I wanted to attend so I cancelled the booking and asked for refund. I have not hear from them since. I send few emails but Travelgenio did not reply!!!.

Our flight was booked for 29/05/2020 with booking code P4L67U the booking then got cancelled by the airline due to Covid i have still not had my refund. Other family members on the SAME flight who booked through other agencies received their refund within 3 months, i has been 3 YEARS and still nothing from travelgenio. I spoke to the airline and they said that the refund has been given to traveldenio so you are literally holding my money. I want a refund immediately! I have also been in contact with customer service and they have been telling me over the 3 years that they are waiting for authorisation of the refund: cust.serv@ (Ticket #3787658)

There is no phone number, they tell you to go to 'mytrips' but when i go there it says it has sent me an email and i never receive it, yes i have checked my spam! It just all feels like a scam!

We need help urgently to get this resolved!!

I have received an email saying my flight has been cancelled but when trying to get in touch, there is no way for me to have any confirmation! The My Trips shows me nothing of substance at all - the airline has confirmed the flight is cancelled but I need to contact the agency to get a change but I can't get in touch! I need a number for their UK office which exists but I can't seem to find anywhere - please can you provide one urgently!?

Scam service! I have received an email from Airline saying my flight will not happen because of default process (payment issue) but i already paid to Travelgenio. The My Trips shows me nothing of substance at all - the airline has confirmed the flight is cancelled but I need to contact the agency to get a refund but I can't get in touch! I need a proper solution on this case.

Bought tickets and now I can’t contact them since the only way is through mytrips and the buttons there does not work. Need to add special luggage, but it´s almost impossible. Order-id is 22276541

I am still waiting for my refund to which my flights were not even booked up with the airline 😡 booking ref 19081816, I email everyday but no reply and even tried phoning but didn’t get any help what so ever, they then say that I have not replied to emails which they’ve sent but I have not received any from them at all. 😡😡😡

There has been a change from Turkish airline in schedule (just a 40 minute change and i am fine with it). However, that change has not been reflected accurately by Travelgenio's side they changed iternity but did not issue tickets correctly, please fix this and reissue the tickets ASAP as flight is on 21st and we can't check in. Turkish airline says these tickets were booked through agency so they need to sort that out, we can't help. Your 'mytrip' app is not working either. When I go to Turkish airline website and enter my booking reference they says you need to approve that change and I can't do myself. Please please put me out of this difficulty, God bless you in advance.

In addition to this, Turkish airline says that they can't see this ticket as a return ticket, it shows this as a single ticket, cab you please also fix this?

DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY!!!!! I PAID FOR MY TICKETS AND WHEN I CHECKED WITH THE AIRLINE THEY WERE "PENDING" AND TOLD ME IT WAS AN ISSUE WITH TRAVELGENIO. I CALLED TRAVELGENIO MANY TIMES, SOME TIMES NO ONE PICKED UP, SOMETIMES THEY HUNG UP ON ME, AND WHEN THEY PICKED UP THEIR RESPONSE WAS THAT IT WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE AIRLINE, SO THEY DIDN'T TAKE BLAME OR RESPOSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING. I HAD TO ELEVATE THIS ISSUE TO THE BANK, AND WHEN THAT HAPPENED THEY THREATENED WITH TAKING LEGAL ACTION. IT HAS BEEN MONTHS SINCE I PURCHASED THE TICKETS WITH THIS AGENCY AND I'M STILL HAVING TO DEAL WITH THEIR ISSUES. AT THIS POINT I'M NOT EVEN SURE IF I WILL BE ABLE TO TRAVEL.

I booked a flight last December 2021 due to passing of my mother.. But i was not allowed to board because of Cathay Pacific not allowing separate two bookings. Sad to say the travel agent given me bookings of two different travek agents including travelgenio.. been trying to trach Travelgenio but no reply at all. Scammer ..
I was not allowed to board my flight from Heathrow Airport because Cathay Pacific told me that its not allowed to have two separate bookings and two different airlines.. My return flight from London to HK are with Cathay Pacific (TravelTrolley) then return flight from HK to Manila are with PAL/Cathay Pacific (Travelgenio). So i ended up getting another flight and another very expensive flight. I already spoken to PAL and they told me to contact Travelgenio. Traveltrolley already given us some refund but up to now we still trying to contact Travelgenio.. Hope you can helo us get our money back

This company is a SCAM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I bought a flight ticket for 8 people; first they did not notify me that luggage was already included in the ticket and they made me buy additional luggage. Then the flight was canceled and I was not notified of anything, not an email, sms or notification. I found out about this trying to do the check-in a few days before the flight. On the travelgenio website the flight was still listed as confirmed, but it wasn't, it was already cancelled. I contacted the airline, and accepted the option to cancel the flight for all passengers instead of changing it to another flight; and they told me that travelgenio had to refund the cost of the tickets because I had bought them through their website, which was directed to me by skyscanner.net. I have sent them several emails and have not received any response. Then I found similar victims of travelgenio on Instagram and Facebook. Apparently it's a big scam, I don't understand how a platform like skyscanner can work with this fraud company.
I will do my best so that there are no more victims and skyscanner ends its agreement with them immediately.

It is not possible contacting by email or chat to them. It is stupid that they only contact to whom are going to fly, not to a person who book the flight on behalf of a work colleague.

Travelgenio is a Scam. They are unreachable, no feedback, no connection. I did not receive my refund for quite a long time now. Never again! Be careful folks! Ref. No. 18882793/ JRPNL6 / Almost a year now, no refund received!

I'm travelling on 09Aug22 and while trying to perform an online check-in, the airlines website states "Your booking cannot be checked in online. Please check-in at the airport." and it also states ticket problems.

The customer service of this company are not at all helpful and just do not care about customer service, I would like everyone to avoid this company for booking of their flights as they cheats.

My mothers flights itinerary was changed by the airline and no information was sent to us, when I tried to contact them to change the date as the time rebooked by the airline was not suitable for my mother to travel first of all no answers to emails and then when you get through on the phone they are absolutely rude.

They do not show any empathy. Even though I have explained many times that the airline has changed my flights, which is not suitable to me and how is that my fault, They just don't care, giving false information that my flight ticket is not changeable when clearly the airline confirms it is changeable but they do not care what the airline is saying. Travelgenio just want you to loose your money and book another flight.

05/08/2022 - Emails have been replied to and only false hopes and lies over emails that we are looking into your problem but no solutions when the solution is as simple as changing the date and asking the customer to pay the small charge or difference in fare which negligible as per the Airline.
