1st night - President Park Hotel, Catania
"Travel Store: relaxing by the pool or the hotel's private beach"
It was far to the water and the roads were unsuitable (dangerous) for pedestrians, the hotel offered no shuttle bus or other transport, and parking with own car was impossible.
2-3. night - Viola Palace Hotel - Villafranka
"Travel Store: Viola Palace which is a short walk from the sea"
The hotel is located with the Messina / Palermo motorway at the rear and the main Messina / Villafranka road at the front, in a busy junction.
The distance to the water is 0.8 km through a shopping center and an industrial district. There were only a few guests in the hotel.
4th night - Art Lincoln Suite B&B, Palermo Addresses - Via Lincoln, 161 - Palermo.
The place is hard to find as there is only a door out to the street where you have to call to get to a staircase up to the 1st floor - absolutely no luxury suite.
No possibility of parking in the street.
5-6. night - Antica Perla, Agrigento
Here, too, there were only a few guests in the hotel, and the only ones who used the pool were the staff and the children of the neighbors.
7. night, was stay back at President Park Hotel.
To market this trip as an exciting tour of Sicily with accommodation in high quality hotels, as the descriptions of the hotels are, is not just a false and completely overrated description - it is quite simply SCAM
