  1. #1 of 3 best companies in Audiologist

Written by the company

Treble Health provides comprehensive Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) to treat tinnitus, combining counseling and education with sound therapy plans tailored to individual needs. The patients are supported in their journey towards habituation at every step – from 1:1 video consultations with a world-class audiologist, through to live group coaching sessions that track progress over time. By providing the best possible treatment plan for each patient's specific circumstances Treble Health aims to help those affected by this condition achieve greater comfort and improved quality of life. The TRT sound therapy approach seeks to reduce the perceived loudness of tinnitus by providing external sounds as a way for patients to "drown out" their condition. To this end, individuals can wear specialized sound generators - such as tinnitus maskers - or use everyday household devices like electric fans, white noise machines and TV static in order to give their brains time to adjust and lessen the contrast between background silence and intrusive ringing caused by tinnitus over prolonged periods. When you work with Treble Health, you’ll receive a pair of tinnitus maskers and coaching on sound therapy, sleep, and the essential toolkit needed to beat tinnitus. If you choose the treatment plan that includes Treble Health’s Treble Maskers, you’ll receive two Bluetooth tinnitus maskers delivered to your home. These discreet, behind-the-ear devices deliver sound therapy to soothe the ears and distract the brain from bothersome tinnitus. Purchasing the Treble Maskers includes appointments with Treble Health’s world-class audiologists. Their goal is to help you achieve habituation as quickly as possible by showing you how to get the most out of your Treble Maskers and holistically reduce your tinnitus with sleep strategies and CBT coaching techniques.

Individual Counceling

It’s nice to know that with Treble Health you can get one doctor and see or talk with them at each of your visits. And it’s also good that they also participate in the group sessions as well.

Being able to talk directly with your audiologist at any time and get a timely response is an added bonus!

My audiologist is the best

My audiologist is the best. Patient and knowledgable. However the new aids by Resound 3D do not live up to the quality, and cost expected. Sound is bad, microphone doesn’t work well. Need to disconnect to speak handsfree and transfer to phone or car.

Activities list needed

It would be extremely helpful to tinnitus sufferers if there was a comprehensive list of potential everyday activities, events, procedures, and appointments that could possibly aggravate, interfere with, or exacerbate the condition. E.g., I did not discover until after I came home from the dentist where a battery of x-rays were taken, that indeed EMR can aggravate tinnitus. This is what I believe happened to me. My tinnitus was louder and harsher when I left the office, and immediately knew something had happened and was wrong. Had I known that they are harmful in many ways, I would have requested few or none. However, the dental community “pushes” for a complete set or else they cannot properly evaluate and treat you. I think such a list needs to be compiled, or if one already exists, then each tinnitus sufferer needs to be apprised of such list at their initial consultation. It may help somewhat in this difficult road that tinnitus sufferers are traveling.

Met with Dr. Diana

Met with Dr. Diana again today. Such a pleasure to engage with someone so pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable as she. That is especially true when the subject at hand is not something you would ever CHOOSE to be dealing with. Thanks again Dr.!!!

Initial consult with Garrett

Garrett summarized my tinnitus background well before starting and then let me talk. He answered my treatment questions about my particular history and the company without a heavy sales pitch. I appreciated his using the video feature and sharing some personal info to connect with him.
