My experience renting a car through…
My experience renting a car through Trent was extremely disappointing.
At first, I was offered a 2022 Subaru Crosstrek and was assured that the vehicle was “100% mechanically sound.” After checking the VIN, I found information indicating that the car had previously been involved in an accident. I asked a direct question about the airbag system: whether the airbag had been properly replaced after the accident or simply removed. I never received a clear answer.
After that, another vehicle was agreed upon. The booking, delivery address, and delivery time (10:00 AM) were all confirmed. A company representative personally confirmed that the car would be delivered to the specified address.
On the day of the rental, the vehicle did not arrive at the agreed time. What followed were a series of conflicting explanations. First, I was told there was a delay. Later, it turned out that the vehicle was in another city and was still being used by a different customer. The representative even admitted in writing that the situation was his fault.
As a result, our weekend plans were ruined, valuable time was wasted, and my trust in the company was completely lost. The most disappointing part was not the mistake itself, but the lack of transparency regarding vehicle condition and the failure to honor confirmed agreements.
I cannot recommend Trent to anyone who values reliability, safety, and professional customer service.
