Incredibly poor service with equally poor food. Given the wrong bill and then questioned when we raised it? Qualify for blue light discount however the holder of the discount has to pay for the bill? So just inconvenience us for a further minute to transfer the money to the blue light holder? Served the wrong drink, pasty undercooked. However Ian the waiter was incredibly polite and a very nice man too. Cannot say the same for the rest of the staff. He is the saving grace for the 2 stars. Had he not been there I’d have rated this place 0.

I placed an order for a voucher over a week ago and have not received any confirmation of when it will be sent. I have also emailed for an update but have not received a response. Could you please let me know the status of my order?

What a gem of a place, we stumbled on Tre, Pol&Pen on our way back from Cornwall, wanting to stop somewhere to get a Sunday lunch. A beautiful farm shop and resturant with one of the best Sunday lunches I’ve had. The porchetta was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back

Popped in for lunch, after visiting many times for morning coffee, lovely venue and menu but choice of poached eggs,Hollandaise, bubble & squeak cake, proved to be very bland, prawn cocktail as you would expect but butter for the bread has to be requested.

Ordered a turkey . Really easy to do so via website. Collection straightforward and Turkey tasted great !

Bought two joints of meat for Christmas. Really good quality and at a reasonable price. Many thanks.

Website fairly easy to use but gift card section could be more prominent perhaps in the strap line. Sent off the card without message as no prompt given and box for this not obvious enough. Delivery very quick and efficient. Lovely to be able to give a useful and local gift to a friend.

Easy to buy voucher on line. Was posted out next day and received promptly.

I took a friend here for a birthday lunch. Food was good, staff friendly & efficient. What I didn't appreciate was being asked to leave as soon as we finished eating, because they needed the table in 5 mins. I spent £44, we had our table for 50 mins. Won't be returning.

First visit of coffee and cake was great. Coffee was very good and the cake was moist and tasty. Came back 2 days later for lunch but was a little disappointed with the lack of choice on the menu. Fancied a sandwich but there’s just 🥯 which is ok but would like to see a bigger menu options for lunch

We went to Tre pol & Pen for a Sunday roast,we were shown to our table I had reserved,ordered a coffee as we were early we waited 1/2 hour for the coffee after asking two times when it was coming,the waitress said sorry for the delay,then sat waiting another1/2 hour for the roast to arrive,it didn’t and after a couple of time asking when,was told soon,I asked for the bill for the coffees as we had had enough and was told it was just coming,I said ok if a drink could be included as an apology and what we got was a very aggressive manager,we paid for our coffee and left,not at all impressed

My daughter and I have been regular customers of Tree pol pen have the loyalty card to prove it ! And have loved shopping in the farm shop , then having a spot of lunch , no complaints until that is this afternoon.
I ordered garlic mushrooms on sourdough, daughter had Pizza which was ok, have had better there in the past
The manager came to the table and politely asked if everything had been ok ? He got an honest feedback from myself, lunch was tasteless overly greasy no chestnuts or button etc mushrooms mixed in with the wild mushrooms, sourdough very hard the outer very greasy middle saturated with garlic oil, his response left me less than impressed, he acknowledged that he would feed this criticism back to the chef with surprise as he said it was one of there popular dishes, smiling I realised he wasn’t interested in my comments or criticism and felt it necessary to belittle my experience
Having eaten garlic mushrooms many times at the savoy grill and not so well know establishments and cooked them by a very well known chef close friend I can assure you they were not the best , it wasn’t the end of the world but his dismissive attitude came across in a unkind dismissive way.
Going forward will not be eating there again, felt upset and made to feel uncomfortable, paid my bill and left leaving smirking staff on my way out
How sad, clearly pol pen are making that much money they don’t care who they offend, will be voting with my feet.

I had ordered 2 party quiches for a large party and, thank goodness, I had prepared other food, but was relying on the quiches for the main food.
I tried to cut up into small pieces to pass around and it just fell apart into a gooey mess ...... awful! I couldn't even cut into wedges ....... it was as if it had melted.
Somebody tried to pass a bit around and 2 people were trying to pick it up with a crisp!! It was so embarrassing.
I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED! Not what I expected from Tre Pol & Pen, and a lot of money to waste.

Tre Pol & Pen offers a mixed experience. While the service is generally friendly and attentive, with staff like Amelia going the extra mile, the menu can be hit or miss. Some dishes fall short in quality and portion size, especially for the price, and the menu options can feel limited and unoriginal at times. Additionally, certain issues, such as preparation and feedback on meals, seem to be overlooked. Despite these points, the atmosphere is pleasant, making it an okay spot for a meal, albeit not always memorable or budget-friendly.

Ordered a cheese toastie expecting something amazing for £11.95. 2 small pieces of sourdough with a measly amount of cheese and a tiny pot of chutney. No garnish and served on a big dinner plate. When I questioned it the waiter said ‘I don’t make the prices’ and the waitress behind the counter agreed that the price was high and what I got wasn’t worth it! Highly disappointing

We love Tre Pol Pen and are regular visitors. The food and cakes are great, as are the staff. In the last few weeks, there seems to have been fewer staff than usual in the restaurant which puts pressure on the service and on the waiting staff, meaning it’s impossible for the staff to maintain their usual service. I can see that this is not their fault and they’re doing their best. Even one additional pair of hands would make a difference.

Went to steak and wine night and had the most fantastic evening. Perfect food and lovely atmosphere.
I'm not sure why other people are complaining as the menu was advertised previously.
As a frequent visitor I have never had any issues with the food or service and will happily continue to be a frequent visitor especially on steak or Italian nights.
Keep up the good work and good food.
