Bargain - $1000 NZD for 10 days in China (out of Sydney)

$1000 NZD, plus a flight to Sydney which I had a credit for but add $700 and I got flights, accommodation, breakfast, a tour bus and guide for 10 days in China.

Never really been a place I planned to go, but was a trip vacation regardless. Saw the Great Wall, and Tinamen Square and got a tattoo while I was at it.

I was surprised how clean it is, the hotels were also lovely, Bullet Train ride also within the price, and our transfers from Shanghai to Beijing and back etc.

For a trip to Fiji sailing around the…TripADeal sailing

For a trip to Fiji sailing around the islands. At first the advertised price was increased by $500 for taking the trip. Then the promised frequent flyer points were only distributed to one traveller where they should have been given to each passenger. Then the return flight has become a nightmare due to being a late flight (on 6th October) to Brisbane (arrive 12:00am). Then a hotel overnight stay with a flight at 8:00am to Sydney which gives us a very short time to sleep and pack and unpack to enable us to get to the airport before 7:00am. A 13 hr trip rather than a normal flight of 4.5 hrs. Most unsatisfactory particularly as we are elderly ladies. A most unpleasant end to our holiday

Do not book with Tripadeal

TripADeal have been totally unhelpful since illness had prevented me from travelling. I have lost $10,000 and they will not discuss delayed travel, credit or even partial refund. They are full of platitudes, “your wellbeing is foremost in our mind”, when they have demonstrated no such thing.

Seriously why would you give your money…

Seriously why would you give your money to this Australian based company. There are hundreds of customers who have been battling for months trying to get refunds for cancelled trips only to be fobbed off time and time again with reasons why you can't have a refund. Offers of credits is not acceptable as will this company still be operating next year? Based on how they treat their customers it seems doubtful. Worst company I have ever dealt with,! Shame on you Tripadeal!!

We paid TripaDeal $12,960.00 for our…

We paid TripaDeal $12,960.00 for our family trip of a lifetime "16 Day China & Japan Discovery". Quantity 4 people (our family). Scheduled to Depart 6th Feb 2020. On 27 January TripaDeal cancelled the trip. We didn't cancel it, they did. And they have kept our money. Australian and NZ consumer law is clear - TripaDeal must refund our money.

In NZ, where we booked from, TripaDeal use famous All Black Dan Carter to front them. What a joke. When we booked we told all our friends "Dan Carter fronts them in New Zealand, we'll be right" What a crock - his integrity-brand, and integrity-brand of the All Blacks means nothing when it comes to TripaDeal.

TripaDeal cancelled our trip while airlines and cruise ships were still travelling between China and Japan and BEFORE COVID-19 became epidemic in China or pandemic globally. Regardless, they cancelled the trip, not us, and the law says they must pay us back the cash.

The only satisfaction we get is knowing that these guys will go bankrupt pretty soon because nobody is booking with them.
