Still waiting for a refund from MAY…

Still waiting for a refund from MAY 2020!!!!
We made the bigger mistake ever. Because prices were slightly better than directly with the airline we booked our flights via Tripair.
WHAT A HORRIBLE MISTAKE!!!!!
It's been months since the flight was cancelled and a long email chain with back and forth, and still as of today 02-Feb-2021, we don't have our money back.
If at some point they decided to reply to one of our multiple email the answer was that we needed to be patient.
How long should we have patience? 10 more years? We will NEVER EVER recommend to anyone to buy fights with this company. Don't let them trick you with the price, there's no customer support and clearly no intention to refund the money.

Inconvinient customer service

Why is it so hard to contact tripair? I need to change my flight details but no one has everv responded to my emails. According to their website they will respond as soon as possible during working hours or the following day if mailed after hours. But its not true! My flight will be in few weeks yet i still cant get hold of anyone? This is frustrating and stressful, Their customer service needs a lot of improvement to attend to their customer’s needs and query.

Can somebody from tripair customer service team please send me an update ASAP?!

No communication possible

Last Thursday I was informed by Tripair that two of my three short flights during my Easter holidays in Ethiopia were cancelled and that I had to write back to them to accept their alternative suggestions before April 7th. I wrote back and accepted - no answer. Phoneline permanently busy. What am I supposed to do now?? Am I going to lose my money? I might have to look for a lawyer if I don't hear anything from Tripair by tomorrow.

Hiding fee

I experienced exactly as Barbara Thomas. There are hiding transaction fee of up to 27 euro which did not show in the total amount of the flight cost. Just when i paid, and i was informed that there was extra fee charged.

The cost breakdown is presented in details to the user as soon as they reach the “payment step”. A table appears on the left side of the screen stating the cost breakdown (tickets cost, airport taxes, travel agency discount, transaction fees –if any etc.).
The “price analysis” is automatically and instantly adjusted depending on the type of card the user is going to select for the tickets purchase. Thus, the users are informed about the cost breakdown before they complete the ticket purchase by ticking on the “terms of use” acceptance box.
In addition, the total cost to be paid is included in the “terms of use” text which the users have to carefully read and accept before completing the booking process. So we have configured our website trying to be as clear as possible (i.e. no hidden costs, ambiguous info etc.).
We are sorry about the misunderstanding occured and we would be more than happy to check your case profoundly and revert with details that would perhaps help to clarify your case and reconsider your point of view on our services.
