Problem with Tripsta online payment

I am disappointed with Tripsta online payment method. It does not recognise my credit card (MasterCard). The online payment method only allowed me to pay if I select 'MasterCard Debit card' as card type. I had to pay extra 27.29 Euro as service fee even though I have a credit card. I am expecting that Tripsta will solve this issue asap.

Dishonest user platform!

To book a flight, you fill out the mask and tick a lot of different areas on or off in case you want the service or not. There is no question whatsoever on whether you have luggage or not but they ask you if you want to pay an extra amount of money (9,99€) for customer service such as adding luggage, and correspondence etc. Where you will have to pay an extra 35€ for every email even or anything else. Well I did not want to pay an extra 10€!!!! And when I received my ticket it said I have no luggage! Without even asking me. Now when I ask them I have to pay 35€ for my question AND 35€ for adding my luggage! However TAP Portugal doesn't charge for luggage in the first place! So! This is scam behaviour! Never again and I am flying 6 times a year already for 16 years!

Please note that we are informing our customers that any request (such as cancellation or change) will result in fees of at least 35 € per passenger, we are not charging for the questions the customer need to ask.

We also would like to point out that there are details provided on each booking path, making the baggage allowance clear for each flight. You could see "red suitcase" icon notification where also was mentioned that the fare you booked, included only hand baggage.

Top!

Best price. Fast and secure procedure. Got my e-ticket in less than 24 hours. Only 1 minus point because no payment via Giro Pay possible. But perhaps thats only often used in Germany. But even with 1.5 % Master Card fee (prepaid card) the ticket (Berlin - Bangkok - Berlin for 425 €) was 70 € cheaper as the 2nd best online offer for the exactly same flight.

tricky price

When making the booking I saw one price, at the end, when I entered the details of payment, the price just JUMPED UP 27 Euro more. It is not fare....

There are different fees depending on what type of payment card you use. If there is any payment card fee, it will be shown after the payment method is selected. In your case, there was the fee in order to use your card.

Fly ticket

No information about additional cost if using credit card as payment method during on-line purchase. Information about extra cost was sent via email when payment was already done.

Update after interaction with customer support

----- UPDATE ------
The issue with the luggage has been sorted out. Skyscanner assumed responsibility for displaying incorrect information on the fare I booked, namely that it contains 1 piece of check-in luggage. Skyscanner agreed to pay the cost for extra luggage.

Tripsta was not directly involved in this issue but I still think that the booking page lacks transparency. This issue could have been avoided if the information "Fare does not include check-in luggage" and "Payment with VISA costs 15€ extra" were clearly displayed.

This is a positive experience with Tripsta's customer support which makes me change my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

----- OLD REVIEW ------
Yet another disappointed client here victim of the 15€ service charge and the not-included check-in luggage. It is true that these two pieces of information were stated before one gets to press the payment button but unobviously. I even believe that the payment page was designed in a way that It makes it easy to miss see this information.

Not only that, I called the client service to clear things up and I got nothing but frustration (had to repeat myself to get understood) and 20-minutes-long conversation where I was put twice on hold for no reason actually.
