I experienced an appalling lack of professionalism and care from TruDoc and Medicom Pharmacy in Dubai today.
Despite having an urgent prescription for severe pain, and explicit instructions from the treating doctor prioritizing my case, the service I received was unacceptable.
Here is what happened:
False Information: I was assured via WhatsApp that my urgent medication was dispatched with a rider.
Zero Accountability: After waiting in excruciating pain, I asked to escalate the issue to the Shift Manager. The frontline representative coldly told me, "We don't have a manager."
Outright Deception: When I finally got a hold of the delivery rider, he had absolutely no knowledge of my order. To cover up the failure, the rider then falsely claimed to the pharmacy that he had already contacted me—a blatant lie.
Leaving a patient in severe pain waiting for emergency medication, lying about its dispatch, and having no shift leadership to handle escalations is a massive red flag. This isn't just bad customer service; it's a direct threat to patient well-being.
I strongly advise caution if you are relying on them for urgent medical needs. Trust and operational integrity are completely missing here.
