When Accountability Goes Missing from your Gym

🚨 CAUTION – TRUE FITNESS CLUB (DADAR & MAHIM BRANCH) GYM, MUMBAI, INDIA 🚨

We joined True Fitness Dadar Gym under the True Fitness brand based on representations made at enrollment, including by Ms. Sana (Owner – Mahim Branch). At no point were we informed that responsibility could later be distanced under a “franchise” explanation.

Serious concerns were raised regarding supervision lapses, trainer instability, safety handling, and refund delays. For months 🔁 we were redirected between branches — Dadar pointing to Mahim, and Mahim pointing back to Dadar — with no meaningful resolution.

A safety complaint was raised 🚩. The response conveyed was that action would depend on whether another female also complained. A woman should feel safe at a gym — not conditionally heard.

Escalations to Mr. Sagar (Owner), Mr. Shubham (Owner), and Ms. Sana (Owner) resulted in delay, deflection, or silence. During the refund process, the communication style reflected a dismissive and bullying attitude rather than professionalism.

This experience reflected weak grievance handling and visible indifference toward member wellbeing.

🚨 At the end of the day, a gym is not just about machines and memberships — it is about trust, safety, and accountability. When a woman raises a safety concern and it is met with delay, deflection, or conditional action, that speaks louder than any marketing claim. If accountability only appears after public reviews, then something is fundamentally wrong.

⚖️ We stood up because silence protects systems, not people.

Before you sign up, ask yourself —
Will this gym stand by you if something goes wrong… or step aside?
