I purchased the $105 Travel Jewelry Case from Truffleco.com and was disappointed from the moment it arrived. The product was larger than advertised, and the internal pouches were different sizes, which was never mentioned in the product description. These details matter, and the lack of accuracy felt misleading.
The biggest issue was the material. The item that arrived was labeled as “100% recycled leather,” but this turned out to mean ground‑up leather fibers glued together, not real leather. This was not clearly disclosed, and the material quality was far below expectations.
I contacted customer service requesting a full refund, explaining that the item was unused and still exactly as delivered. Instead of support, I was met with a restocking fee, which was never mentioned upfront and feels unfair for a product that was misrepresented.
Adding to the concern, the “Reviews” page on their website is not a real review system. It’s a static page of hand‑selected positive comments with no way for actual customers to submit reviews, which prevents honest feedback from being shared.
Overall, the combination of misleading product descriptions, lack of transparency, restocking fees, and a fake review page makes this a company I cannot recommend. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.

I ordered the tsa-approved size toiletries case from Truffleco.com, but also ordered one from Amazon (branded Avenlee) for $17 to compare. I thought the Truffle case would be heads and shoulders above the cheap Amazon version, but I was surprised to find that it was nearly exactly the same. The zipper is the same size/quality, as is the construction and material. The only slight difference was that the Avenlee version has an additional handle, but shorter zipper pulls. Otherwise, it is exactly the same case. For $100 less. Of course I returned the Truffle case. I feel like this is a case of consumers paying for the marketing that targeted us for this bag.

Maybe this is bad, but I’m usually more compelled to give a review after a bad experience so I rarely write five star reviews. But I really really love this company so much I had to preach about it. I can’t remember how I came across them, but at first I was a bit put off by the prices so I only got one thing because it was exactly what I wanted and I couldn’t find it anywhere else. I figured I’d get my other travel accessories stuff elsewhere for cheaper. But omg when I received my organizers I was genuinely blown away by not only how gorgeous they are but how they seemed to be soooo sturdy and of such nice quality. I waited a while to write this review because I wanted to see how they held up. I can confirm after several months and many, many trips later they look brand new. I am so sick of cheapy stuff breaking and having to go find replacements on a trip. I’m very frugal, so I don’t say this often — but the quality really does justify the prices. It’s honestly making me realize how much junk I’ve bought over the years to save money. Oh and I also asked for the shipping to be expedited for one of the other items I got after being so impressed with my first purchase, and they got back to me immediately and made it super easy. I haven’t bought a ton of stuff yet so I can’t say every single thing is as good as what I’ve bought, but based off of my two orders I’m highly impressed. I hope they start making more types of accessories to mix and match and maybe something it can all go in like a modular travel rollup or something.
