I canceled my application with Tru Green. They came out and did it anyways and billed me. I told them I'm not paying as I canceled it. They acknowledged I canceled but I had to pay. They then asked for half. I said nope then they shut my account down. Awful, just bad customer service for someone who's been there over 20 years.

Hired Tru Green over the phone. Nobody came out to look at the lawn. They treated it for the season. Asked them why there was still a lot of moss. She said they don't treat moss. Asked why the men who treated it did not mention that they did not treat moss. It was pretty hard not to notice the moss. She did not mention anything.

You should have read all the reviews before I ever shelled out $500 for lawn care with true green. My lawn looks awful after five months of care maybe worse than it did before they started in May. I have weeds and mostly moss it’s really ugly. I doubt that there’s much fertilizer or weed killer and anything they put down.
I received a call from a Tru Green representative several days ago and he mentioned that I had not received the report from the last lawn service from several days earlier because the printer in the truck was not working. I’m sure there was paper and pencil but whatever. I begin to explain the situation and that moss was covering my lawn. He said that the plan I had did not cover moss.He proceeded to tell me that the technician had noted that I had insects invading my lawn Beetles, ants,spiders ect.and this would be an additional cost to address them.
I told him that I had a company that comes regularly to spray for bugs in and out and I have not seen a trace of bugs after which he Abruptly ended the phone call.
I called the number that I found on my contract and spoke with a woman who told me my contract of over $500 did include moss control but offered no solution . She asked who called me and I told her it was a representative from your Boston area and gave her the number she told me that he must’ve mistakenly called me.REALLY! I don’t think so. I told her since my contract had been paid in full and that their last application would be in October that everything should be canceled after that. She told me that I would have to call back in December or they would be coming out in the spring. Would not take my cancellation when I called last week. Apparently once you sign with them unless you cancel on their terms even if you are paid in full they are going to come out and charge you in the spring. Stay away!

Had this company for years, it was good now awful. Last application was July 2 , it is now Sept 7th, no sign of them. After multiple calls and rescheduling, still a no show. I have half an acre of dying grass in back yard. Multiple calls to have someone call, assured a call within 48 hours . 4 days later I they called and my voice-mail was full. Wasn't expecting a call then , plus it was 800 number thought it was a scam, not too far wrong.lol. after multiple calls still not a call back. I suppose what can they say. Supposedly they will be here tommorow. Probably do a double dose and charge me extra.they wanted to reschedule reseeding to oct., hello I'm in the northeast, think grass will germinate and grow in November, December. Company should go under within 2 years,if you use them don't pay ahead.

Trugreen‘s guarantee is we will continue working until you’re satisfied are used to green for four years and last year the manager of the Plymouth branch called me up and said that they were not making enough money on servicing my lawn so they were canceling Mario kartSo much for their so-called guarantee
