I don't see a zero as an option. My Mother had been a loyal customer for years. She pretty much bought everything they were selling. But then her yard was a mess and her yard guy suggested having the local manager come out. He, David Thomas, came out and agreed her yard was a mess. He told her to have the sod replaced and then TruGreen would reimburse her for the work. When it came time to collect they company says they don't have a record of the meeting and won't pay. I called the support line and never received a call back. I then called local guys (finding their number is a challenge), and they told me the same thing that they didn't have a record of visiting her house. She is 85 and this is very stressful to her. Simply disgraceful how she has been treated. Never use this company.

Trugreen is a highly unethical company particularly in regards to the treatment "guarantee" and their billing practices. From the start, their work was so incredibly shoddy that I literally had to call two weeks after each treatment to have the re-do their work.

After tiring of the continued poor workmanship, I decided to cancel my annual contract with them. The contract allows for refunding of services that were not completed, so I requested a refund for the remaining services.

To my surprise, they didn't even refund one whole service. I called and went back and forth with them for 2 months. I finally requested every invoice for which we were billed to show them clearly they were in the wrong concerning billing and after requesting that, they cut off communication. They knew full well that they did not refund the entire balance due and just kept our money.

I can't recommend enough to avoid this unethical company. They are dishonest and have shoddy work to boot. Avoiding them will be the best thing you can do for your lawn too.

I received a call from a Bobby Young after I had requested pricing from TrueGreen online. They had sent me the pricing which was not terribly bad and my wife and I had discussed moving forward with the plan. Bobby explained that I had called the corporate office which was wrong and that I must have seen his truck in my neighborhood. I had not. Probably a ploy to sell. He informed me that he had stopped by my house uninvited and wanted to offer me a better deal than what was being offered online. Once again I had told this company that I would contact them when I wanted to move forward. Also who shows up to someone’s house unannounced during working hours when most husbands are not home? Luckily my wife and I were on a walk. Due to his aggressive nature in trying to sell me I began to slow him down by saying I was in between jobs, whereas he interrupted me to chastise me for calling a luxury service. Mind you I never contacted him just corporate for pricing so we would know if it was a service we wanted to move forward with. Needless to say this guy is an absolute jerk and I am dumbfounded on his arrogance to assume my actual financial situation. If this is a franchise TrueGreen has shown it doesn’t care. Seeing the rest of the reviews for this location have only strengthened my argument and shows this guy does not know his business.
