I have used Tru Green for several years. In 2020 , my husband and I decided to make a payment for the entire year. This was a one time payment with my card, not my husband's card. I did not authorize anyone to save the card on file. However, my card has been charged throughout 2021 and 2022 for services I did not request. My husband called in October 2021, the agent claimed to not have an account in his name, phone number or by email address. So we were thinking the account was closed. Moreover, I have looked back over my past bank statements, noticing that I have been charged each month for the services which are in my husband's name. How can Tru Green save my card on file and charge me for an account which is not in my name. I called this morning, the account was located, the agent agreed to refund half of the amount for the recent lawn treatment. We should have not had a treatment because my husband paused the treatment until further notice. This is totally illegal to conduct financial transactions in such manner without the authorization of the card holder. I will seek legal advice and contact Trust Dale for further actions.
