Had a total transformation to our lounge/dinning room after consulting with CITY GLASS WINDOWS conversion top quality tradesmen clean tidy excellent workmanship all debris removed from site recommended highly.

Had window shutters fitted by The Edinburgh Shutter Company, who did a first class job. The two joiners were very friendly, chatty guys and pleasant to deal with. No mess was left after the job was done. Would highly recommend Edinburgh Shutter Company.

Unfortunately as per other reviews, Edinburgh Trusted Trader will only accept good reviews.

A roofer as recommended on rusted Trader turned up at my property to undertake some work. They turned up late and then soent the next 0.5hr reading a newspaper and drinking coffee. When I queried what work they would be undertaking on my roof for £750 they said it would take less than an hour. Gicen there was no materials I queried why I was being charged in effect £750/hr. Unfortunately they xould not answer that question and without any further discussion slid off.

Given that I was clearly being overcharged and the builder would not kyet ne query the estimate, I thtibk it was valid that I could submit ny experience. However trusted trader stated that i coukd not reciew the company as they left without doing any work. Hardly a trustworthy company who can now go on to overcharge other customers.

This is about ANGUS Trusted Trader but unable to post for that part, only here. Useless, unhelpful and not what it says on the tin, will not post or approve bad reviews, and ask the trader to approve a review, so clearly the trader will not approve a bad review, so there is no point in trusted trader for the consumer, when faced with overcharging, bad workmanship, unprofessional and unreliable.

Having received unprofessional substandard work from a workman i spent some time writing a review for trustedtrader.scot as I was invited to do by email. I spelt out in detail the problems with the work. However the "complaints" moderator refused to publish the review claiming that the core window painting work had been done and that the *many* splashes of paint on the windows were acceptable and his chipping interior paintwork on an inner sill quite badly was not part of the core job. As far as I am concerned trustedtrader.scot will only accept good reviews. So I would not believe the star rating from this particular "trusted trader" site.
