Now that I know the process of navigating the pathetic website, I had no issues. However, your debit card provider still has not been able to fix my site access. After months of very slow response with no resolution, I’ve given up.

Terrible experience…
Terrible experience trying to transfer funds IN after setting up my account. It’s taking almost a full month and still no answers. Three representatives and over 50 minutes on hold, still no answers. I’ve sent emails to which I receive a response that they would call but they don’t. Not impressed at all.

Equity trust couldn't locate my account…
Equity trust couldn't locate my account for over a week and then told me I had a 401k loan balance on a loan that had been paid off several months ago. I had to pull 3 years of bank statements to show that all payments had been paid and, in fact, overpaid a bit. Very concerning and disappointing

Readily Available.
This was the first time I did a self directed IRA and I should have planned alot sooner to get it all in line but Equity Trust was fully available to help me get this deal closed on time and funded. Thanks a million looking forward to repeating with your company and doing the master class.

The onboarding process took 3.5 months
The onboarding process took 3.5 months, the same documents were requested over and over, communication was one direction and took days to receive and answer, from a different person. I paid for "Gold Level Service" and didn't see any improvement. Not that my account is that big, but a $2M asset you would think might get some curtesy.

Personnel at Equity Trust was excellent in provide me with the necessary help, at times, step by steps on the phone to make sure my paper work was done correctly.
I had a long transaction period due to Buyer issues, the staff from Equity Trust was there to support and help me all the way. I closed on the 27th of October (date on the survey) but the help/service was for a long period of time
Thank you, Roberto

Communication skills flat out suck
Communication skills flat out suck. They lie and stretch the truth. You can't escalate or reach a manager. The salesman are full of crap and customer service is right along with them.
Per your response:
Provide a direct number to a manger- not an email into a department.

UPDATE 2
I have written a review before (but erased it because NOTHING was done about it) about the extremely poor communication, the delays in funding my projects, and the lack of response even when I have called and written to an "assigned" person. Not sure if it's incompetence or malfeasance, but I am looking into who regulates this business.
Do not trust your hard-earned money with the "work-from-home" people at this company. They say they are making changes but it has not happened.
The fees are outrageous for NO work that is being done. Check the response time on this complaint (it looks like it was immediate, but they're usually several weeks)...This is precisely the speed of the responses you might get from some minimally-trained rep. They also charged a fee DESPITE having ZERO income on any of my properties so far. Additionally, they will take fees out of your account AND send you a bill for the fees. I had annual fees taken out on 12/29/2023 and also received a bill for them with a due to date at the end of March 2024.
Watch your money. And don't waste your time sitting on the phone for 3 hours waiting for someone to answer the phone.
It is highly disturbing NOT to trust your money with EQUITY TRUST. Do not trust them - your accounts will lose more money than they ever will in the stock market with the exorbidant fees that are charged for phone clerks to answer the phone after three-hour hold times, barking dogs, chirping smoke detectors, and zero effort or service to find answers. It is a disgrace and they are NOT recommended.

As a first-time investor
As a first-time investor, I have been very pleased with Equity Trust's customer service. I was lucky to have thee most awesome Onboard Specialist, Tina Samol. She was and has continued to be there for me every step of the way of my onboarding steps. She is truly awesome, always professional and very helpful.
