Dreadful service by T&S. Don't get the service contract

We purchased our Worcester Bosch boiler and heating system 12 years ago we also took on their 12 year warranty with a service visit included each year.
At first they seemed to carry out a reasonable service with visits taking about 1 to 1.5 hrs in the last 5years the visits have reduced to about 20 mins I've asked why on many occasions and was told on our last major service in March 2026 that they only do a visual check and test various pressures and settings .
This week our boiler failed to work we contacted T&S and was told a cost of £80.00 would be required to attend and find out the problem which i found a bit steep as it was supposed to have had a major service last month as we were out of contract we called another Worcester service agent before this event we had been complaining for 3 years of how long the boiler took to heat the water.
I could not believe what the engineer showed me the condence trap was blocked solid and the ignition electrodes were burnt out. Our new engineer fitted new electrodes and cleaned the condense and the boiler is now working as good as new. Hot water almost immediately. He remarked that it looked as though it hadn't been touched for about 5 years all I can say is the T&S engineer must have been blind. We think the service contract is a bit of a con and would never recommend or use them again we will also follow up with a report to Worcester Boilers as we think our boiler has suffered through T&S.

I would never comission T&S again

In November 2025, I paid £2,957.03 for a Baxi 500 boiler to be installed by T&S Heating Ltd.

Following installation, the boiler repeatedly lost pressure, requiring multiple engineer visits. On one occasion, while I was unwell, I had to ask my elderly mother to attend T&S in person to ensure an engineer would come out the same day, as the boiler was not working.

On 22 December 2025, the boiler failed again. While an engineer was in attendance, we discovered my basement fully flooded. The existing drain-off valve from the previous system had been left in place. It was visibly corroded and failed following the installation of the new boiler and introduction of system pressure, resulting in significant flooding to an area containing electrics.

I am disabled, and being left without heating and hot water over the Christmas and New Year period caused considerable distress and disruption.

The written responses from Christian Thurgood, Operations Director, denied liability and compensation. I do not feel my concerns were handled fairly.

The matter has been escalated through the appropriate independent channels and is still pending.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company and would not use them again.

Good experience.

First engineer came to fit a new boiler.He was obviously knowledgeable and worked very hard. Second job was fitting of a shower by a different plumber. Both were polite and kept us in the loop throughout the jobs.
We had a small drip a couple of weeks later that may or may not have been connected and a man came over the same day and dealt with it.

My mum has had 5 new doors fitted in…

My mum has had 5 new doors fitted in her house, t&s heating turned up and a workman called Connor trench arrived he did a great job, he was very friendly. He cleaned up all the mess, even down to wiping his feet before he came through the door. Just wanted to say a personal thank you for all his hard work.

Callout prompt and repaired fast!

The boiler was 12 yrs old and had previously been serviced 5 yrs ago by T&S. They came over in just 2 working days and stopped the leak on Monday, repaired the boiler on Tuesday! So glad not to have that stress weighing on me for much longer!

Wasted a whole morning waiting for an…

Wasted a whole morning waiting for an engineer despite being booked weeks ago. Rang to check he was still coming as I needed to go out. Told he was on his way only to find out when I rang again that he could not get to me. Nobody had the courtesy to ring me and let me know. Terrible customer service.

They dont listen…

They dont listen to customers when you talk to them because i contacted them on the 17 th febuary to cancel a appointment but i got told some one was suppose to contact me yesterday but they didnt phone me back

Impressed and delighted with service. Highly Recommended

We had a serious problem with a leak from a tank in our loft, which meant no heating or hot water in the freezing cold. Within a week of contacting T&S they had the issue totally sorted. A special thanks to Steve who treated it as an urgent priority and Lewis who was amazing and had our heating sorted within the day. Can’t praise T&S enough and would highly recommend. Thank you 🤩

In a world where everything seems…

In a world where everything seems broken T and S Heating are a shining light of excellent customer service. When my 88 year old mum's heating and hot water stopped working between Christmas and New Year I contacted T and S. They were so efficient in diagnosing, providing quotes, undertaking the work with minimal disruption and most importantly doing things when they said they would and communicating. Thank you to Christian, Marc and all the lads you are a credit to your company.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company! I pre paid for a boiler service and this was arranged for last Saturday between 8 and 12. No one turned up, no phone call. Then suddenly on Sunday afternoon they decided to arrive without warning. Left message on their voice mail but no response. Called to make a complaint and no response. No communication and really poor customer service.

Boiler Service

Moss came to service our boiler. A lovely chap, very efficient and I highly recommend him. He even cleaned the inside and outside of the boiler! We had no problem with making an appointment for the service and Moss turned up first thing on the day so, well pleased with the service from T&S.

Done with T&S heating forever now - AWFUL

Done with T&S heating forever now. Absolutely awful company.

Had a boiler installed in 2020 by T&S - they did not tighten the pipework in the loft correctly, this caused a slow leak that flooded our loft and 2 upstairs rooms, response when we called about the leak was very slow and I had to deal with the clean-up in the loft myself. Months later they did make minimal repairs to the flooded rooms; it was a lot of disruption and all of the redecoration had to be done at our own time and expense.

The T&S installers also damaged our gas meter when installing the boiler; they replaced it, but did not register the change with our suppliers nor did they inform us of this (no information was given to us - else we would have contacted suppliers etc) - which caused billing issues.

We have since had 3 services performed by T&S, and one service booked in for today where they have cancelled the service without contacting us because we hadn't paid in advance - causing much inconvenience and cost to us.

2 of our previous services were uneventful, however the engineer that serviced our boiler and fireplace in 2022 took the liberty to use an entire can of my own wd40 when "cleaning" the fireplace - god knows what he did with it - but also didn't provide the service sheets - he did leave the empty wd40 can for me though.

The secretaries / customer service people are chirpy but unhelpful - if you have an issue they stonewall you, promise callbacks or say they will/have sent emails - none of which happen. They will not let you speak to anyone other than themselves (from what I have experienced there are 2 of them, and they pass you between one another); the director or manager or anyone more senior is always out - they won't give contact details for them or arrange for them to call/contact you.

From my experience T&S is a front, they employ many engineers who are of variable abilities, some are awful, some probably ok - but any issues T&S clearly do not care - they just want the money.

If you think you might get some form of stability by choosing a larger company, it is not the case with T&S - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I won't use them again!

I'm pretty easy going allowing for mistakes but one too many with this company. I would not use them again - feel like I've made a big mistake...
1. The boiler was fitted, but we had to call him back to get a part from the previous boiler removed and the bottom cover was not fitted correctly. I also pushed in the cement around the flu where there were gaps.
2. The bottom cover was still not correctly fitted and at this point I left it as it's in our garage and no one would see it. The clip holding it eventually broke!
3. When serviced in the first year I was told I would need to pay for a replacement bottom cover! So, again I left it.
4. Despite fitting in Sept 2021 we had no issues up until April 2024, I called up to get it looked at and found out the 10 year warranty we set up with them had been cancelled - but they could not tell me why it was cancelled, nor could they advise why we were not contacted if the direct debit payments had stopped. Maybe I should have spotted this, but at a cost of 7.15 it's not something I'm watching for.
5. We paid 77.95 call out fee, and after 10mins a temp fix was done. But for a full repair it will cost us another 240 - I found the quote for the repair in my junk mail by accident, I didn't get a phone call.
6. I had to call a couple more times in order to find out if they could reinstate our guarantee. Firstly I was told it would have to be back dated for the payments not made and we would have to pay for the repair on top - how does back dating benefit us! Then I was told that it was not possible due to the boiler now needing a repair and not having a service at the end of last year. Apparently the service would have spotted this issue, even though the issue has just occurred!
All in all, really poor organisation and lack of customer service on errors there end.
I'm going else where.

Awful

Awful! No communication. Advised they had 50,000 customers and this was an exceptional case but the 75% one stars show a different story lol. Still waiting for replacement radiator since December

Impressive service

My usual heating engineer is away so I called this company as I used them successfully many years ago. I paid the call-out fee over the phone and Steve arrived within a few hours and soon diagnosed the boiler issue and mended it. He also checked the gas meter and his test showed a small leak, necessitating him shutting off the gas supply. He suggested I call Cadent (used to be National Grid) to visit without delay and they did so very quickly and changed a part near the gas meter. Very impressed with Steve’s knowledge / advice and his conscientious approach.

One of my neighbours got the engineer…

One of my neighbours got the engineer from T&S today. The engineer parked on yellow lines completely blocking several cars. That shows not only laziness but complete disrespect for other residents.
The neighbour's problem wasn't fixed either apparently.
