Cancelled last minute

Arranged for 1pm, 10.30am i receive an email saying the cleaners are coming at 11am. I email and call saying I won't be there, they have to come at 1pm as agreed in confirmation. Cleaners finally get in contact at 12.10pm, saying they've had an accident and can't do the job today. My estate agents check out is for the Monday, I am likely to lose my rental deposit because of this. Have asked for my £45 deposit to be refunded.

They used a cutlery knife to remove…

They used a cutlery knife to remove limescale from the shower!
They said the oven was clean, when cleanly it wasn't. Then they said it wasn't possible to clean it!
The never heard of 'killrock' to remove limescale.
They used 'Mr Beckmann' to clean the carpet! (not even a retail carpet cleaner machine, just a handheld sponge).
When they said the shower was clean, I spent 30 minutes cleaning it in front of them to show them where all the dirt was and showed them dirt they said could not be removed.
They can wipe.

If i could give them 0 stars I would

If i could give them 0 stars I would, never in my life have I dealt with a more dishonest company
1. they turned up HOURS after they said they would
2. they charged up £189 for an end of tenancy clean that was graded as barely 'domestic' by our agency and we're now in the process of losing our deposit because of these absolute clowns.
When I spoke to them yesterday I asked them if they could go back, the rep on the phone assured me they would go back today to then send me an email of a mysterious '72 hour warranty' claiming that this is one of the reason why they won't go back, second apparently it was 'filthy'-they took a picture of a few dirty things and claimed it was too much for them, they're a literal cleaning company we removed everything before their clean.
A deep clean of the flat and a carpet wash was meant to be included and haven't even touched it
They have been reachable the entire time and now they are conveniently not answering the phone, they're obviously far from a professional company, AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Dreadful company I booked an oven clean…

Dreadful company I booked an oven clean through My Contractor - they were late, a clean advertised to last 1.5 hours to 3 hours was completed on 50 minutes. I have now cleaned the oven myself and omg they failed in every way possible. I have complained via My Contractor and they have referred me back to Tulip and guess what ….. they are no longer communicating. AVOID at all costs

Worst company ever!!!

Worst company ever! Don’t be fooled. Arrived 1hr 30min later than agreed. Took 6hrs to clean small, unfurnished, no carpet’s 2 bedroom apartment. Left tumbler dryer filters filthy, yellow lines stains in between bathroom tiles and corners left untouched, walls, windows frames and small other issues left untouched as well. We been charged extra fee by our agency simply because of all this issues that cleaning company supposed to cleaned to perfection. I returned 3 times to the apartment to check on them and pointed to them what need to be done and cleaned up again. Very unprofessional company and staff. If you don’t want to waste your money DON’T choose them. I have all pictures as evidence from check out report. Very poor cleaning standards!!!

End of tenancy cleaning
I engaged Tulip Cleaning for the end of tenancy cleaning of a 3-bedroom flat in Jan 2022. The cleaning was done perfectly, my landlord was satisfied with it. I had a smooth property handover and got back my full deposit. Would recommend them

Fantastic and professional service

Friendly and professional service! We needed an end of tenancy clean and was recommended Tulip Cleaners by our estate agent. Communication prior and during the service was great and our flat was left looking spotless! Needless to say we got our full deposit back. Would recommend their service to others. Carpets look new after steam cleaning.

The worst cleaning service!!!!!

The worst cleaning service, EVER! I talked to a few cleaners but decided to go with them because they told me they can remove any stains from the carpet, as they use the strongest and best chemicals. As soon as the guy named Ahmed saw the carpet, he said, "you should get this changed, it won’t go." I was fine with getting the carpet changed, but I kindly asked them to at least try to remove it because I paid £50 extra for the carpet cleaning. They asked for the payment in advance, so I sent them the payment after they promised everything else other than the carpet in the house would be 100% clean. One of them went over and over again on the carpet with the cleaning machine, and the stains didn’t go. I said it's fine, just do your best in everything else. When I booked in with them, they said it would take 5 hours, but after 1.5 hours, Ahmed wanted to leave and kept telling the other guys that they should leave. I said that they cannot leave as not even 50% of the house was clean. They stayed for about 4hours, and the cleaning they did was not even average. What they did was more like a regular cleaning rather than end-of-tenancy cleaning. They haven’t touched any tiles or doors (unless I asked them to, a few times), and the floors weren’t even moped, the handrails on the stairs were untouched. What is crazier is that they ONLY cleaned the shelves that are at eye level (see the attached pic for the condition they left the top shelf with); and only hoovered the places you can see, (no behind the doors etc so I had to ask them, again and again, to DO THEIR JOB PROPERLY). I got a cloth and cleaned some of the doors MYSELF! They come in a small car with cloths, a few cleaning supplies, and one of the Numatic hoovers - not what you expect from a "professional cleaning" company. So their equipment was not enough to do an end-of-tenancy cleaning, anyway. They didn’t even say they were leaving, they packed all of their stuff and got in the car, and I told Ahmed to come and check the condition of the dusty door, so he said, "show me where you want me to clean, I will do it," while holding one piece of cloth, and two of his friends were in the car, waiting for him. What a joke! A day later, my landlord saw the house and he said we need them back as there are a lot of uncleaned areas (see pictures attached), so I called them as they told me they have 72hours warranty for their cleaning. Mind you, I did not have any furniture or anything else in the house and I didn’t even stay there for five minutes after they left. I called them again, and spoke to Malik, he said they would come back tomorrow between 1-2. At 12.30, I tried calling them, and it just said, "you’ve been blocked by this number.” I left them a one-star review, so they called me at 2.30, telling me they have arrived but they have seen my review so they refuse cleaning. I asked why would they block me, they said, "They wanted to block a different customer, and they blocked me on accident," so I deleted the review. Malik also told me that the guys were "scared" of me. I said how come three grown men are SCARED of a 23-year-old girl, by herself. I was not there when they came for the second time anyway, because I had given the keys to the landlord on Monday after they came on Sunday. The second time that they arrived, they stayed for 20mins, and my landlord informed me that they came with a piece of cloth and only wiped here and there, did not want to clean anywhere else, and then they left. Now, I am arranging a different company to get my deposit back, and will pay them another £250. My invoice with Tulip cleaning was £289, and I sent them the full price on the cleaning day, after sending the £20 deposit a few days earlier (which means I sent £20 more than I should have, and when I asked for that £20 back, no reply, of course). I WILL ATTACH BELOW THE INSPECTION REPORT, SO YOU DECIDE FOR YOURSELF HOW UNPROFESSIONAL THEY WERE! DON’t BOTHER USING ANY OF THEIR SERVICES, THEY’LL JUST STEAL YOUR MONEY AND TIME!

Do not use - you will end up paying twice

Staff arrived for end of tenancy clean in an unmarked white van.
Three men walked through the front gate without announcing who they were and simply asked if this was my house and walked themselves right in the house without further discussion. Really unnerving for a young woman on her own.
They carried out the clean and asked repeatedly that I pay in cash which felt very dodgy so I gave them no choice but to accept in BACS so that I had a record of the payment.
The inventory report has come back to say it doesn’t look like a professional clean has taken place, photos of evidence given. The house owners then hired their own professional clean so I’ve paid double for cleaners and lost my deposit.
Tulip have refused to come back out to clean again (prior to the next company being booked) and are now ignoring mine and the owners emails to issue me a refund. This included additional cost for carpet cleaning.
Do not use them. Their website is deceiving, it looks professional but they aren’t.

Zero stars - avoid!

The 'team' that eventually arrived for the end of tenancy clean arrived in a saloon car & English didn't appear to be anyone's 1st language. It wasn't done properly or completely & I ended up doing some myself. The exit report said it didn't appear to have been professionally cleaned (I agree) & I didn't get all of my deposit back as a result. AVOID!

Terrible company

Terrible company. The house was still dirty. End of tenancy clean. I am in the process of losing my deposit of £2500 because of there disgusting uncleanliness. They don't respond to emails or telephone calls. I've emailed 5 times now. Gave cash and still haven't had a receipt. I am reporting them to HMRC and trading standards.

Do not trust this company

Very poor experience. Trust the GOOGLE reviews - they are most accurate!! Booked an end of tenancy clean and they did such a poor job. Dust and bits of food still lying around. I couldn’t believe it. They also insisted areas that hadn’t been cleaned properly could be hidden behind the appliances! The toilet was in the worst state and my partner and I ended up having to clean it ourselves in the end. They demanded payment up front too on the spot and were very pushy.

POOR AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

This cleaning company cleaned my property in May 2022 and did a terrible job. We gave bad feedback and they did not care! Because we gave bad feedback they are ignoring our emails where we are just asking for our receipt! This is poor and unprofessional.

Excellent end of tenancy clean

They responded to my quote request almost immediately and their quote came in far lower than anywhere else.

They communicated when they would arrive on the day of the end of tenancy clean, and arrived at the time as scheduled.

Despite it being in the middle of a heat wave, and a rather large house, they worked all day and the place looked better than new when they were done.

Even though it took all day, they only charged me what was originally quoted.

I highly recommend them.

Good value cleaning service

Initially a mix-up with dates so the cleaning team didn't arrive when expected, but Tulip managed to reschedule for the following day. I can't fault the cleaning - the guys worked solidly for over 4 hours to make sure it was all cleaned properly, including the carpets, all at a decent price.

Not recommended!

Not recommended! Very poor finish. Dust, smudges and marks left behind. Some areas haven't been touched at all! We have spent four additional hours cleaning afterwards. Also, the cleaners scratches kitchen sink really badly.
Find someone else for the job or you will regret it and waste your money!

Doesn’t deserve any stars

Doesn’t deserve any stars, they turned up without professional cleaning products, and left half the thins dirty.. Dirty job, dirty kitchen tiles, dirty window sills, it was booked for a deep cleaning for a new property.We were quoted £199, then they requested £30 to clean two balconies on our request. When I complained he couldn’t care less, disgusting service, who literally don’t know how to clean. Don’t bother get others in as at least you’ll get a better job done. Three people turn up in a little car, with no professional cleaning products either. And the place didn’t smell any cleaner.Don’t bother saying you’ll look into the case like you have with others, you kept the money and bumbled on about some crap about how you value the customer get over yourselves learn to clean properly before setting up a company out of your garage.
