Tulle & Chantilly Reviews 

I would warn all future brides NOT to use this company, despite making mistake after mistake they have refused to rectify their own errors unless the bride pays additional sums. As a final resort they have agreed to refund the cost of one of the four dresses purchased which will hopefully cover the cost of dresses being colour matched here in the UK.

Below is a timeline of just some of our history with Tulle and Chantilly to illustrate the poor service provided:

24 September 2016 - first dress ordered and paid for.

27 September 2016 - two emails sent to Rebecca suggesting that it would be wise for all dresses to be ordered together to ensure that they match and are made from the same batch of fabric.

1 October 2016 - Rebecca confirmed that she would have the other dresses ordered and would confirm the reference numbers to ensure this. She provided the names of the three other bridesmaids who would be ordering dresses, stating "My other three bridesmaids will be ordering their dresses this weekend to make sure they are the same batch".

3 October 2016 - Rebecca confirmed the order numbers for the other dresses and again confirmed that they should be made with the same material as the initial dress. She clearly stated the other reference numbers and reiterated "Please can you make these with same material".

4 October 2016 - T&C confirmed by email in response to Rebecca's email of 3 October 2016 that you had received the three other orders and would start the dresses once you had heard from us. There was no suggestion that any dresses had been started.

21 October 2016 - The three dresses that were ordered later were notified to have been shipped and arrived shortly thereafter.
The original order was NOT shipped at this time and indeed was not made or sent until Rebecca chased this. Once this was received and compared to the other dresses, the lining of the dress was clearly a different colour to the other dresses.

After sending a number of photographs T&C agreed to re-make the dress that was made and shipped late. Despite being a closer match to the other three dresses, there is still a noticeable colour difference that one would not expect from dresses costing over $100.

After this, when Rebecca asked T&C to rectify their mistake and to remake the dresses, they agreed to do so ONLY if she paid another $60 per dress - in essence suggesting that she pay once again for their mistakes!

4 January 2017 - I set out the above timeline in an email to T&C explaining why financially penalizing a customer for their mistakes was appalling customer service and suggesting again that they either remake the dresses or as a last resort refund the cost of the incorrect dress to allow us to rectify matters this end.

17 January 2017 - I chased a response to the above email as it had been ignored

19 January 2017 - After my email still being ignored, I posted on this page for a response (the post that they have now deleted).

20 January 2017 - An email was sent to Rebecca rather than me in response once again suggesting she pay another $60 for each dress!

22 January 2017 - After pointing out that a response should have been made to me, I finally received a response from the company who once again said that we would have to pay $60 per dress or they would issue a refund on one dress only.

24 January 2017 - in response to my further email setting out that financially penalizing your customers for your own errors (clearly they forgot to make the first dress that was ordered!) is unacceptable, T&C now inform me they are having a 7-10 day holiday and wouldn't be able to make dresses on time!!!

We now await a refund for the incorrect dress in the hope the dresses can be sorted here in the UK.

This company clearly has no respect for its customers.

I actually ordered a bridesmaid dress that I will wear as my wedding dress. (I'm not really a white ball gown type of gal). Sophie from Tulle & Chantilly was very responsive to my emails and asked me a lot of questions about my preferences. They even added a train to the bridesmaid dress so that it would look more bridal. I love the quality and the fit is perfect (I ordered the Tulle off-the-shoulder bridesmaid dress). I decided on the color "Papaya Whip", and I must say it was a bit more colorful than I had anticipated, so you may want to order a swatch. Otherwise, it's perfect and I'm looking forward to wearing it. I would recommend this website to anyone, brides or bridesmaids!

I ordered a bridesmaid dress for my best friends wedding and I was thrilled! The customer service was great, they reached out to make sure my measurements were correct, they were super quick to reply with my questions, and overall were great to work with! The dress itself is beautiful and original and I can't wait to wear it!

My daughter's wedding is coming up in January 2017. She wanted her bridesmaids to have beautiful long dresses, but didn't want them to be too expensive. A friend of hers had used Tulle and Chantilly, so we had seen how beautiful the dresses were. Sophie at Tulle and Chantilly was so helpful and very responsive. She helped us get the exact right color and walked us through the process of customizing one of the dresses by adding a sheer piece at the top. Sophie was honest and advised that the material we thought we wanted would not work well. She suggested a different material, and she was right. All 8 dresses recently arrived, and they are perfect. My younger daughter is one of the bridesmaids, and because she was able to send in her measurements, the dresses fits her perfectly. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience with this company.

I chose Tulle and Chantilly because we needed dresses all in the same color but wanted different styles to suit each lady. This was an easy option that allowed us to do just that. We received our CUSTOM dresses a mere two weeks after ordering (although they recommend leaving much more time than that). Everything came just as ordered with no issues. One of the bridesmaid's even said the quality was better than her own wedding dress.

What is even more reassuring though is the customer service. I dealt with Sophie, and she was always very fast to respond to any email inquiry. I asked a LOT of questions, and she had very thorough answers. We were a little nervous to order online, but we felt very comfortable after corresponding with her and ordering color samples, which I highly recommend as well. If you're looking for well made dresses, look no further!

I purchased 4 of the "Elegant Long Tulle Off Shoulder Bridesmaid" dress in Marsala and Barely Pink (both colors that were customized) for my wedding in August 2016 and I was thoroughly impressed with the way the dresses arrived and looked. My bridesmaids looked gorgeous in them. The dresses were extremely flattering and the colors were beautiful. The pink one turned out a little more pink than I originally wanted, but it still looked great. It was a cool night, and the dress was long enough to keep them warm and flowy enough to keep them from sweating through the midday pictures. Everything was measured and put together so nicely; we were even able to alter one dress to fit my little sister after a bridesmaid dropped out.

And the price was the best I'd found for the style I wanted. The customer service was very satisfactory. I got an email after I ordered my dresses making sure I ordered exactly what I wanted and asking me to differentiate the dresses by the girls' names so we didn't get them all mixed up. They recommended colors and helped me choose the best possible options for what I had envisioned. I am forever grateful to Tulle and Chantilly for being one of the very few things that went off without a hitch in the planning stages.

We ordered three bridesmaid dresses from this company. The color was not what we ordered. The construction of the dresses looked like a high school home economics project. The sizes were completely off and were so bad that the dresses would have to basically be taken apart and reconstructed by a seamstress. Plus, the order arrived three weeks late which left little to no time for alterations or corrections. When we asked for a partial refund, we were told we had to ship each dress back INDIVIDUALLY to China and would get a 50% refund. The cost to ship to China would have been more than the refund. I would not recommend wasting your time or money with this company.

TulleandChantilly provided me and my fiancé with EXACTLY what we wanted. These invitations are even more beautiful in person and such great quality. We would recommend this company to anyone in a heartbeat!!! Very timely responses and quick turnaround from purchasing them to having them shipped. We do not live in the US so we were taking a chance ordering these online but we couldn't be happier! Can't wait to use them again in the future!

My experience with tulle and chantilly was incredible! From the start to finish! Once I put in my order, I immediately got an email asking for my measurements and confirming the style and color of dress. Shipment was also not long at all! The customer service is absolutely amazing! 5+++

For our wedding we had three bridesmaids in three different countries - Tulle & Chantilly seemed like an excellent solution as we could order made to measure dresses in different styles in the same colour that would match in nicely on our big day. We paid the USD 20 to order their colour swatch and picked the colour that matched our wedding theme.

When the dresses arrived they were a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLOUR to the colour swatch we ordered. The SIZE of every single dress was WORONG. We sent photos of the colour difference between the swatch and the actual dress as well as photos of me measuring the dress to show it did not match what we had ordered.

The conversations with the company went on so long and they showed no interest in coming to a resolution before our wedding day.

They can see the colours are not the same but they said that's normal for the dresses to be a different colour to the swatch so I have NO IDEA why they sell them.

For the sizing they have just repeatedly told us to go to a tailor and fix the problems ourselves.

Terrible customer service, terrible quality of dresses and absolute no customer service skills!!!!

I could not be happier with the dress I ordered from Tulleandchantilly.com. I started with one of their dresses and made some modifications. Sophie with customer service was so helpful and made sure everyone understood what I wanted and I understood what was possible. The measuring instructions were thorough and easy to follow.

The dress arrived quickly once it was shipped. I was so happy once I opened the package. There was my perfect dress, just how I wanted it. The quality is amazing. It's true that you get what pay for, but you get good value for your money with this company. A dress like this would have easily cost twice as much elsewhere and I doubt the service would be so fast and friendly.

I can't recommend Tulleandchantilly.com enough. I have the beautiful dress of my dreams. It's well-made, a custom fit and so worth the money. If you are a picky as I am and want something custom made, this is the company for you.

I was initially drawn to Tulle & Chantilly because they offer unique designs that even David's Bridal couldn't accommodate. I was a little nervous to order my dress online without being able to try it on first. But working with Sophia made all the difference! She was very responsive through email, open to any adjustments to the design I needed, and always double checking any information I provided. I felt like my dress was in good hands. My dress just today arrived from overseas after less than 2 days in shipment! (This was faster than the estimated time & faster than David's Bridal could offer me). It fits perfectly and is exactly the dress I wanted! I'm very pleased. I highly recommend using Tulle & Chantilly.

I recently ordered a one shoulder bridesmaid dress for my friend's wedding and it turned out gorgeous. I really appreciated all the sizing guides on the site and it turned out I was an exact size so I didn't do the custom sizing. I emailed a customer service representative several times, she wanted to make sure they made everything the way I wanted it. I then received it sooner than expected and it shipped very quickly. I ordered a headband for my wedding day and the same arrived very quickly. 15 days after I received the package, very well packed, very beautiful. The headband is very beautiful and it was exactly that I was looking for. I will not hesitate to order from this company again. Excellent work!

First off the dress is beautiful and was for a very good price for a dress that was made specifically for me! There was problems on the payment part of things on my side but the customer service to help fix this misunderstanding was amazing which really help me become less stressed about the whole situation. All in all I would recommend this business if you want a non expensive dress that is tailored to fit you and excellent customer service!

My dress was absolutely perfect. The quality of the material was so much better than some overpriced bridal shops.
