The adhesion to the mounting base of the Tulmox to the dash is poor. The base has lifted a number of times in the first month. I suspect that if the base was solid this issue may be resolved.

Useless product and sneaky pricing
I bought this via an ad that appeared on my Facebook feed. The ad made me believe that this was a high quality product that would easily hold a smartphone to use in my car. It has been a complete waste of money. The sticky pad does not support the weight of my iPhone and comes away from the dash within a minute. I have tried 2 different sticky pads and the same result. I bought a 3 pack and am very disappointed with this product. Also the ad quotes a $ price which you assume is AUD but when you make the payment it is USD so the payment is way higher than the advertised price and it’s too late to cancel. A sneaky advertising ploy. I would like the opportunity to return this product for a full refund. It’s useless to me.

Poor Product, false AD
Poor product.
Delivery time was decent considering the state of world transport.
I would of liked a tutorial on how to install the magnet/sticker unto the phone/case. Every attempt to install it directly to the phone failed. I tried cleaning and adding adhesive primer, tried using the protective plastic, all failed. The power of the magnets is so strong that it just rips the sticker of the phone if you don't slide the phone off the car-mount. Adhesive too poor to hold on. Mostly useless. I ended up putting the sticky magnet on the inside of my case but now the magnet isn't strong enough to hold to a fast acceleration like they falsely show in the ad.

I bought 3 of these thinking that it was a great idea, and it is but the execution is poor. I use a slim case for my phone so I tried it first by putting the rounded plate inside of the case. The magnet was not strong enough and the phone kept falling so I decided to adhere the plate to outside of the case. This worked for a few minutes but when I tried to pull the phone, the adhesive was not strong enough and detached from the case. After this I gave up and they're sitting in a drawer but I most likely will throw them away.

Strong magnet / poor adhesion
Great magnet - no issues there.
But….
This item was built to attach to the slats on the air vent. The issue I faced is that the grippy pad that adheres to the inside of the clips and then makes contact with the vent slats, loosens up and slides off due to heat coming out of the air vents. The grips require a better adhesion that can stand up to the heat that comes out of the vents. Without the grippy pads, the clip won’t stay on the vents because it is then plastic on plastic and slides off.
Very disappointed - major flaw in the design by choosing a sticky pad that can’t handle standard vent heat.

Excellent customer service
I was bit disappointed with my order and i emailed tulmox and they replaced my phone holder without any extra charges and without asking me extra questions. I was surprised as i was not expecting it to be so quick at customer service. I am impressed. Also no doubt Tulmox is good choice for car accessories.
