Ahmet helped me learn Turkish throughout my first year of learning the language. My first day I barely knew “merhaba” but he has continued to help me grow and understated/speak Turkish.
He makes learning fun with games and fun books and tongue twisters and has a great method of simplifying complicated grammatical structures. He has answered all of the stupid questions I had without ever making me feel like I was asking a bad questions and answered them well so it would stay in my head.

Ahmet simplifies Turkish learning so well, that it becomes approachable and even fun. Trust me I have had other Turkish teachers that turn Turkish language learning into a stressful and combative experience, and Ahmet was the first teacher I ever had where the hour of learning flew past, the exercises were so engaging, that I didn't even feel that instinctive clenching, that mental fogginess, that has always accompanied any attempts at learning an entire foreign language. Instead of feeling like each lesson was a huge mountain to climb, with Ahmet language learning became easy and enjoyable. When there is laughing, rapport, easy to understand diagrams, and so on, I realize it can be a whole different/non-stressful thing. I'm really lucky to have met Ahmet and taken lessons with him!

Ahmet is great at simplifying concepts that at first are really challenging and complex which is my favorite thing about his teaching method. I really appreciate his style and method which is very inclusive and catered to each persons individual needs. Overall a wonderful language teacher, I highly recommend.

I am with my wife moved to Istanbul a half year ago. Eventually, we realized that English is not enough to stay comfortably here. At least the basic knowledge of Turkish would be very helpful. We started to search for reasonable online courses, private tutors, courses in academic institutions, but for one or another reason it didn't work for us. And after a certain time we found out about Turkish Academy, we gave it a try, my wife was first and I joined later. And we both had a very good experience with it. First, for me, it was online. I travel a lot, had to be online, the schedule was good, the price was very reasonable, material well collected, and Ahmed as a tutor is a very gifted guy, the explanation of material is very well done during the lessons, recordings of which btw are available if you miss something or want to go back. Lots of material from the lessons collected on the platform to use later, including screenshots from the lessons themselves. Groups having not many students ( we started with 10) In the course, I think lots of practical things, including the use of grammar, very diverse way of teaching ( quizzes, readings of extra materials, active chats in the rooms..) Personally, I am planning to continue to the next levels. And I would really recommend Ahmed Turkish Academy course for the people who have to start using Turkish in their life.

The best course ever! I can strongly recommend and the teacher is süper. Lots of different excercises and the spirit is good. The course is worth of the money!

I am glad that I participated in Ahmet's course. Ahmet's course is fun, but at the same time you are learning Turkish. Everything is explained until everyone understands it.

Ahmet is an amazing Turkish teacher. He is very patient and professional. The classes are fun and enjoyable. I can't wait to start the next course.

The course was overall very helpful. Teacher is very patient and is able to explain well. Especially when there is class activity like games involving it makes it more fun to learn. The only drawback is the class timing, its a little too late. I think instead of making it too late , maybe it can be arranged to weekend during day time. Thank you for teaching us. All the best.

Very good and nice experience I can say, it was very intensive and very beneficial with a professional teacher.. i learned so many things and my Turkish level ameliorated after a few class sessions. Ahmet is very nice and kind person, the class with him is very serious and also so fan, we are enjoying learning new things and especially Turkish cultural and traditions things..

I was looking for a beginner's course to learn Turkish and this course was way over my expectations :) The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable, the teacher has a very methodological and structured approach and the explanations are always very clear. It allowed me to learn a lot in the span of two months and I can make basic sentences and understand a little more when I walk around in Istanbul :D Thank you so much and I cannot wait to take the next level.

The online classes with Ahmet have been so worthwhile! His lessons were engaging, useful and he was very patient with all of us, always encouraging us to try. He has a very nice and light way of explaining the non always easy Turkish grammar. I’m thrilled to have found his online classes.

This the best Turkish learning experience that I have ever had, the teacher is very skilled and his teaching techniques makes the students very well engaged with the lessons. I feel that I learned so much in a very short time.

This review is as an honest one based on my experience in this course. I have had many Turkish classes in middle school and high school but there were never really beneficial because it was thought like a typical class the teacher was talking and student are listening that is all. Language class is not meant to be taught like that. This course in Turkish academy was the only class where I was actually trained how to SPEAK Turkish which is exactly what I wanted. I totally recommend this course for anyone who wants to learn Turkish. Teaching structure is all made so students would practice speaking during the lesson. The duration of the course and the quality of it is beyond great given the price. It is probably one of the best Turkish classes you would find.

Great teacher and well selected training material. We are in a group of 7-10 people via online video conference. It works out pretty good, we have a lot of interaction and the participants joining are motivated because they are willing to learn. Overall the explanations, rules etc. are easy to understand and to follow. We also get some homework which we are reviewing in the first part of every cursus. The training material, screenshots, notes and recording is also provided to all of us. I really recommend this class, it is worth your time!

This wasn’t my first Turkish class but it certainly is the best! The teacher is very respectful and know how to keep the class fun and informative. Time was used very efficiently which I totally appreciate. I feel more than ready to move on to the next level in Turkish now. Would 100% recommend!

I attended A1.2, A2.1 and A2.2 classes at Turkish Academy with Ahmet as my Turkish teacher.

Ahmet is an excellent teacher. He speaks English which is a big plus point for me as I understand so much better when he explains things and he explains it really well. He is patient. The class is interactive. The class atmosphere is always positive. Highly recommended.

I was urgently searching for an online beginner's Turkish course and was referred to Turkish Academy. Having studied a few other languages, I knew I wanted the lessons to be rigorous, engaging, and fun while also having authenticity and flexibility for my busy schedule-Ahmet exceeded all my expectations. He clearly understands adult learning models and uses a variety of teaching techniques to ensure knowledge transfer. Having just completed A1.1, I can now understand words and simple phrases and can grasp some of the basic structure of the language. Now that I've made it through this first course, I'm looking forward to learning more through Turkish Academy.

Ahmet is by far one of the best teachers that I've had the pleasure to be taught by. He makes learning interesting, fun and easy. He's patient and thorough with his teaching approach. I look forward to the next course with him.

From someone who tried and tried...
...and tried anything possible to find the right Turkish language course, I absolutely recommend this one, to everyone who wants to learn and/or improve their Turkish language skills. Just go and take Ahmet's lessons now! As a former teacher, I know how much it takes to be a teacher like Ahmet is. I never saw a Turkish language teacher that is so dedicated to his profession, who is teaching with so much will, ambition, and capability to motivate. Ahmet's approach is very fun, creative, and interactive. There are fun and interactive games, maps, but most importantly, an easy-going way of studying. I've got so motivated and I wish I had these lessons every day. Because I finally, can simply understand why some rules exist and finally someone explained to me with ease. Lots of people around me said that my Turkish got so improved in such a short time, and I can even have small chit chats with my Turkish friends and family, even after finishing A1.1 level. I'm so glad I could find this one. I learned so many things so fast, without having any stress, because Ahmet has unbelievable sources of patience, which means he loves his job so much and that kind of teacher will give you his best. My group was great as well, everyone got so ambitious and wanted to show their best. All because of Ahmet's way of teaching. This gave me hope as a person who had struggles learning a new language my whole life, I finally feel optimistic, and most important I don't have to worry about my time and energy since this is a great investment.

Ahmet is a very friendly and engaging teacher. He takes the time to really explain the grammar and ensure that everyone in the class is interacting. He used multiple resources to ensure we got a good understanding of the language.
