Zero response

Been trying to get a response from Dani Brace since January 2021. 8 emails later and still no response. I have even copied in the CEO.

Useless andUnresponsive

They are utterly useless and don’t handle customer queries in a professional or timely manner, they instead choose to ignore you, despite the ever-increasing rates they charge.

Have unfortunately had them as the housing group for my flat for four long years as a homeowner. They just don’t care about us.

DISGUSTED

Wish i could give no stars. They threaten tenants if you dont do what they want. They'll threaten to take their home away from you and send you to court. When youve done nothing wrong to them just because you missed an appointment. Horrible people. Stay away from this housing its a NO GO AREA!!

TVHA management useless

TVHA have proved over and over again that they have no interest in helping their tenants. We have waited for 12 days for them to organise the repair of our TV arial despite many of us ringing and emailing. As it is now a bank holiday there will be no repair until at least Tuesday. Absolutely useless.

I purchased my 1 bedroom shared…

I purchased my 1 bedroom shared ownership property 12 years ago and year on year the service charge has nearly doubled.
It had an increase of over £100 for this financial year alone making a service charge of £340 per month!
So far no explanation from said company.
Back when I purchased the property I was paying for a parking space I didnt have and it took months for this to be removed.
I also pay for internal lifts ect when I don't even have access to them.
The resell is made so difficult.
I can't say anything else about them as I only hear from them when more money is needed for something else.

Avoid would be my recommendation.

Fab service!

I called metropolitan Thames valley this evening due to a leaking ceiling while having a bath. I was told that I’d have someone out to us within 4 hours which was great. Within 5 minutes of ending the call, an engineer was knocking at the door and resolved the issue quickly. Really impressed with their service especially in this difficult time! Thank you for being so efficient!

Disbelived

My husband and I belong to a housing association in Buckinghamshire, we have lived in our 1 bedroom bungalow for 18 years and been no trouble at all to them. I am disabled and my husband is my full time carer although he has chronic arthritis, we manage.

In 2016 they moved in someone who has caused us trouble from the word go, and for 3 years 7 months have had A.S.B from this person which was reported the first week. Since then diaries have been written, have tried speaking, tried taping etc., it got worse over the years with loud thudding base type music, but after all our reporting to this association after so many events including several hospital visits, G.P letters etc., we were passed to 3 different officers and none of them were of any help, they did nothing and appeared to be on the side of the perpetrator. As for us the victims in all this have been told that they were closing the case, we are in total shock as they are refusing to help us. They have put us down for a move but after building up a home, which we thought would be our last have to now wait until something else turns up and is where we want to go which is nowhere as we are not in the wrong.

This housing association has done absolutely nothing to this perpetrator apart from sending 3 letters 1st one was for A.S.B, 2nd was to ask the perpetrator to move the offending system off our bedroom wall and to lower the sound and the 3rd was from No.3 officer who ask the perpetrator to lower it further. This 2nd officer told us a pack of lies about a recording machine and like fools we went along with it writing down times, dates, what was heard etc.

We then complained to the Housing Ombudsman who did we don't know what, just said if we hadn't heard anything back in so many days to let them know which we did, it was quite a surprise when we found out that A.S.B officer No.2 had left for another job, we had again been left with our case "dangling" in mid air, the same with A.S.B officer No.1 who was put on lighter work as she was pregnant, o.k they could have told us instead of being past round like a parcel, so the 3rd officer was our Neighbourhood officer who heard the noise from outside too and told our local P.C.S.O's who had attended who witnessed this awful noise with web cams and recorder, that it was far too loud of which the P.C.S.O officers agreed that they couldn't live with it either.

We honestly thought that our housing association was going to take this perpetrator to court etc., but as said they are letting this person stay, but because we have been made far worse health wise, we are having to try and sleep in our front room which leaves us in agony, extremely tired, in constant pain daily/nightly, our housing association do not give a damn about it.

They have been so very unco-operative with us and a well named charity that helps people with problems, plus our local councillor who has tried to help us by ringing them up he just got told to mind his own business.

This housing association when it comes to something like this are completely useless they have now told us that the case is closed, and this has made us so that we just don't want to be here any longer, but we intend taking them to court over different things, far too much and confidential to put here, although would like to expose what they have put us through, will leave this to the imagination. Just simply can't get over what they have told us they know what this perpetrator is like and the rules broken in the tenancy book but they have done nothing about it, just left us to be taunted day in and night out.

Goodness knows when or where we will be moving to and it is breaking my heart as I have worked so hard in trying to make this housing association see what this perpetrator is like, have even checked with other associations and they have told me that under no circumstances would they have let this go on. So if I could of given this housing association -10 score or even lower I would, they are terrible and thought the facts of how our lives are with this association also what they have put us through should be known.

Do hope Trustpilot will be able to print this as our association needs to be shown for who and what they treat you like if there happens to be an A.S.B problem and someone is in the same position elsewhere.

Thank you Trustpilot.

They simply do not care.

How disappointing to hear how badly people are being treated. How do the staff live with themselves?!

Overall I have been disappointed with the level of service provided by MTV. I am currently in a shared ownership property, which to some people like my partner and myself is still a considerable amount of money.

We have been in the property three weeks. We did not receive a handover, as promised. No snagging to run through of any nature with anyone from MTV.

We noticed a lot of flaws in the workmanship of our property which we consider to be minor; wonky shelving, cupboards, crappy paint jobs etc - That's okay we are grateful for the house we will pay and fix these ourselves!

The real kicker though - THE PLUMBING WHICH CAUSED A HUGE LEAK.

The overflow on our bath was not properly plumbed and caused water to flow through our ceiling into the bathroom downstairs. On further inspection I also realized a cracked cistern had been installed in the downstairs loo, they installed it cracked as it had been partially covered in pollyfiler! This caused a further leak with the toilet downstairs.

Contacting MTV about this has been an absolute joke. Telling me and my partner our property didn't exist, sending a repair man without the appropriate kit after my partner called many times explaining what would be required.

Even worse, the complaints process is utterly dismal, we made our original complaint on Monday 2nd March. Has a single person contacted either of us regarding the way we are being treated? NO!

I'll be surprised if our repair is rectified anytime soon, and our experience thus far of the housing associations is that the staff simply do not give a crap about our property, even though we are reporting a significant issue.

We love our new property and now this is ruining it for us, currently we don't have usasge of our bath/shower and downstairs toilet.

If you are thinking the new home buying scheme maybe the answer for you, DO NOT go with TVH, if you have a defect they are unlikely to care. Opt for another housing association and do your research before hand.

The reviews all around for TVH are absolutely terrible online and I've also found various investigations where they have been neglecting their tenants. This in itself speaks volumes see Trust Pilot!

Thanks TVH for dampening the happiest time in our relationship and lives.
