Josh and Scotty were helpful, polite and efficient. Communication was a strong point, and not a single item was damaged.

Extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend Two Men and a Truck.

I was given an estimate of around $500. TMAAT says my final cost was $2,170 — more than FOUR TIMES the estimate — yet I still had to physically help carry bags and boxes and then make multiple trips in my own car to finish the move.

They knew beforehand there were two flights of stairs, a narrow driveway and a large double-door fridge, yet a third mover ultimately had to be brought in at additional cost. On the second truck run, they essentially took the fridge and two lamps despite other belongings remaining. I have photos showing the amount I subsequently transported myself.

Their aftercare/customer service has made an already stressful experience worse. I found the customer service extremely unprofessional, dismissive and difficult to deal with. Calls were dodged or passed around, and getting meaningful answers was incredibly frustrating.

I also dispute the circumstances surrounding payment. After I had already formally complained, a further $1,170 card transaction appeared on my account.

Their proposed resolution? $105, conditional on accepting it as full and final settlement. I refused.

I have retained the emails, booking records, photographs, bank records and their own GPS information and am now pursuing the matter through formal consumer channels.

More than four times the estimated cost and I still had to help and finish the move myself. I would never use this company again.

The boys were amazing. They got a huge lounge around an impossible corner and were quick, efficient and understanding.

We have engaged Two Men and a Truck twice now, and our experience has been great both times. No complaints whatsoever.

booking experience was prompt and efficient. closer to the day we discussed the correct truck size given the physical constraints at the delivery address and they worked with me to find the right solution which involved a truck change ( no extra charge and indeed because it was a smaller truck, a smaller overall charge). The guys on the day were great. Obviously knew what they were doing (I hope this review gets back to those guys).

Excellent communication and follow up from the start. The men were also very friendly and communicated great. We almost filled a 6 tonne truck and none of our belongings or property had even a scratch. Two men and a truck are more costly but we’re would not hesitate to use them for our next move for their efficiency and our peace of mind.

The team were fantastic - I had to change a few items in the day for shipping and Tom was great and made the changes without any problems. The job was done efficiently and we finished ahead of schedule! Will use again. Mary was also very good throughout the booking process.

The service from Hope at booking was amazing. She followed up and even went the extra mile to work out a good price.
In the end, I paid $500 more than quoted which was not good. I’ve not had that experience before with my regular removalist. I won’t use this service again as staying on price is very important to me.

Great customer service in the lead up to the move and the process to estimate the cost. On the day the guys were great, everything moved with care and finished one hour earlier than the estimate.
