Avoid at all costs
Quoted for a job for 5 hours for $1700, fair price. However when they arrived 1 man and 1 young kid and they took 15+ minutes each time from packing the boxes or getting boxes from the truck.
The job ended up taking up to 8 - 9 hours, which ended up costing $2400 almost an extra $1000 from them being slow.
A job where we had boxes and furniture ready and sorted.
Top it off they required to use our tools, which I had to dig up from a box.
Look else where before engaging this company, not sure why we are charged for 2 men if one was in training or a young kid.
It seems that they overcharged me
It seems that they overcharged me, a senior citizen, for my 1 bedroom move about $200. The movers (2) just put boxes anywhere, even though they were clearly marked with rooms on them. They ignored my directions about placement of furniture.
AVOID TWO MEN & A TRUCK!
I have never left a negative review due to believing ppl generally do the best they can & we all have bad days; however this is a warning if you care at all about your things. When I called for my estimate I repeated several times how heavy my things are; even mentioned that everyone who has ever moved me says it’s the heaviest they’ve ever moved. So when my 2 men show up my size my heart sank, but I thought some of the strongest men I’ve known weren’t very big; however these guys were also very young & clearly inexperienced. I decided I would just have to help & maybe this will prevent mishaps. For the 2 largest items I suggest they take out the drawers to decrease the weight; they told me they didn’t need to; I mentioned everyone else has taken the drawers out; he said they didn’t need to. They barely got the dresser out (wall is pictured) drawers are easily close to half the weight of this dresser. Eventually they became concerned about the weight of my buffet & called 2 more men changing my rate from $165 to $265, but ok if that’s what we need to get there. Again I suggest removing the drawers on the buffets; but nope they know what they’re doing. In the end a 6 foot Christmas Nutcracker was broken (no pics because they offered to dump it) my antique vanity, I’ll say came apart because they told me how I can glue it back (smh) & broke the slab of TN marble that went on the vanity (pictured). While making the damage report they kept asking for the make & date..clearly no knowledge of how valuable antiques are & why they are valuable (impossible to replace) but according to them they’re going to find me another piece of TN marble & the pulled apart bottom half was on me to repair (smh). In the end my buffet did not make up to my new place and they’re solution to this was delivering it to anyone I could find OR they will SALE it for me and give me the $. Imagine something dear to you just pretty much being taken away, but what could I do. The buffet is what I used for my largest TV so I ask if we can get 1 of the tables we’d already put in my storage unit to set the TV on & they said yes. I didn’t go to my storage unit to watch what they were doing, but when I went to put something in there later I see they have now put a very heavy chair partially on the only part of this antique vanity they haven’t broken (top half) and the leg of this chair is running through my box spring (pics). I put the heavy chair in the storage unit myself due to wanting to make sure it didn’t damage other items & damn if they didn’t do it after all. So in the end I have all these damaged items & the bed they kept saying they we’re going to put together for me to sleep on did not get put together; maybe this was due to my time running out, but overhearing the team lead telling them to slow down & quit being so fast made me think I was good on time. I was told I’d be compensated for the damage & the price over all was reduced a little. The guys were super nice until everything really went left; I’m not angry at them personally; in fact they would have to admit I was a very good sport saying repeatedly “I don’t love anything that can’t love me back”. This crew were just clearly not the 4 men & a truck for this job. What I’ve heard about this company since my ordeal is alarming; if Google was showing all the reviews, NO-ONE would ever use them!
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Damaged and destroyed so many of my pieces. Did not know what they were doing or just didn't care. DO NOT USE!!
What a ripoff!!
What a ripoff!!! leading up to my move from a townhome to another townhome, my 12 year old son and I did a lot of the moving . We were quoted a high price for the move off
3 Dressers
1 armoire
A dining room table which took them forever to figure out how to take apart until I stepped in.
1 small sofa
A grill
A Recliner
3 beds and frames
A sectional which they couldn’t get out the door until they realized they needed to take the legs off and took their sweet time doing . This took 4 hours to load .
They were in basement talking and having a good time removing the legs off couch . It wasn’t until I told the Lead mover I was unhappy with the time it took to get these items out and loaded that they actually started moving their butts.
When we got to new house I asked for legs of couch and said I will handle .
They were having difficulty getting sofa downstairs until I explained stand it straight up and pull from the bottom .
Terrible exp I do not recommend
Oh the kicker …… there was 3 guys not 2 but 3 . Never again
Fantastic service - friendly, accomadating, efficient and took great care of our belongings
After having the worst experience, bad beyond the realms I thought were possible with AnyVan - Two Men and A Truck was such a saving grace. We moved from Newcastle to Edinburgh with some massive furniture, and they were fantastic about it all; they didn't whinge and moan like other movers. The two men we were assigned were lovely and a pleasure to work with. We will indeed be hiring them again if we ever need to move in the future.
Incompetent- Avoid this money-grab!!!
Two men and a Truck of Annapolis, Maryland will give you a time estimate and not show up. They will waste your time and they are very rude. They set the time but don't even adhere to it and then want to charge you for their incompetencies. Don't use them or you will be sorry. They are thieves.
Cannot thank you and Chris & his crew…
Cannot thank you and Chris & his crew enough for the prompt, thoughtful help. Courteous and efficient.
I've used Two Men and a Truck multiple times, Never a problem. But, the outfit serving Ft. Lauderdale out of Pembroke Pines, is OUTSTANDING. These guys, especially Chris & his crew are well recommend. They were an absolute pleasure to work with.
TEN stars on the five-star scale, no joke. USE these guys!!
Thank you so much my friends!

2 Men and a Truck in Sun City West.
Izeke and his crew were tremendous.
They were so careful, helpful and accommodating.
The previous movers had broke and marred soooo much that I wasn't hold out much hope for what was left. But Izeke and his crew were so patient and careful.
What I thought would take 7 hours took 51/2 hours.
Thank you, 2 Men and aTruck
You made a stressful time a good experience.
Absolutely Disgusted
It started from the beginning. When I was setting up the contract to move. It was extremely hard to get in touch with the operator. I should have known then. The movers were good at times. Also slow at times. They damaged a few items. One iteam do to them damaging it. Cost us a bunch of money. We could not set up our tank. Because the stand was broken. I sent the company pictures of it. They threw there policies in my face. So what is the point of insurance? They charge $108 for insurance so what is insured? We lost all of our plants for the tank some fish died some shrimp. Company just shoves the policie in your face that i didn't get toread. It was read to me day of moving when it was crazy. I will not be recommending this company to anyone
Smooth move
From the scheduling process to the actual move, things went smoothly. Tristan D, Dcaprio M, and Damion were all professional, helpful, and very friendly. They finished early and wrapped up my furniture well.
Horrible experience
Terrible experience. I have moved several times and never had such a horrible experience. During the entire move one man constantly voiced that he did not like having to charge people so much. He would happily move me next time for much less. He seemed to be "casing the joint" at both places. At the new address he walked over to the patio doors, unlocked them and inspected them. I was shocked as he said " I probably shouldn't open people's doors". A few days later I secured the doors In a new way.
After the move while unpacking, I noticed damaged walls, a white desk with severely chipped paint in several spots, two new white bed frames dented in several spots and a missing screw cover button. Boxes largely marked "this side up" with expensive electronics inside turned upside down. Heavy boxes crushing smaller boxes below. In the closets I found our new garment bags with expensive dress cloths inside tossed on the closet floors with the garments off the hangers. The garment bags had to be replaced because the outsides were filty as if they had been on the truck floor. I noticed when vacuuming a month later that the flexsteel couch had a tear and one wooden leg scratched with deep gulges. Two of the floor protectors on the bottom of the legs were missing. I was at wits end when I went to I stall my new portable $500.
plus air conditioner and found they had broken two of the three hose
adapter prongs. I need to order a new one. I had been told that everything would be wrapped, that the beds would be taken apart and reassembled (the platform beds were moved as one piece and needed to be taken apart to reassemble tightly afterward), that everything would be handled with care. I believe everything was flying around the in the truck. Nothing about my dealing with this company was positive. Please heed my warning. We were fortunate that more expensive damage was not done.
I do not recommend this joke of a…
I do not recommend this joke of a company at all!! They over charge you ! They quote you 149 then jump it up
To 189 a hour and they show up 1 hour late !!! They take advantage of seniors big time !! And they tell you it’s gonna take 7 hours to move out of a 1 bedroom apartment ?! Then they call a third mover to come so they add that to the bill ! Come on guys! Get your S%it together !!!
You guys shouldn’t be in business if you do this to people !!!
Beware of Two Men and a Truck in Little Rock!
Let me start by saying that Two Men and a Truck in Little Rock is an absolute nightmare! Their 100% replacement offering is nothing but a cruel joke. Don't be fooled by their promises because when you actually read the fine print, you'll realize that their depreciation clause negates any hope of getting a fair replacement value.
To make matters worse, I had the misfortune of having electronics stolen during the packing process. And guess what? Nobody noticed until I unpacked at my new place! When I brought this to their attention, they nonchalantly made me sign for my belongings and then had the audacity to refer me to the police for stolen goods. Talk about passing the buck!
Save yourself the headache and avoid Two Men and a Truck like the plague. They're not just incompetent; they're also shady and completely untrustworthy. Don't say I didn't warn you!
I have moved 13 times in three states
I have moved 13 times in three states. Have had many different moving companies. I have never had a better moving company. Blake Baldwin and Philip Harvey from the Lexington franchise were the most polite , helpful and knowledgeable young men imageable! The move was from one house to another and then to storage. The items were from my mother's estate. Antiques and things. There very careful with all the items and they made my daughter and I feel like they really cared about the items. My mother had only recently died. I will recommend Two Men and a Truck to everyone and have already to a neighbor who may soon move!!
Highly Recommend!
Very professional, quick, and helpful.
Highly recommend.
Excellent Move: Quick, Friendly & Thorough
We were thrilled with OUR Two Men And a Truck move here in Central FL. On time to Pick up, with deliveries of furniture to 3 separate addresses 40 miles total apart., finishing over 2 hours ahead of schedule! They wrapped and strapped the furniture and unloaded carefully at each stop. We had 3 men who were quick, good natured and seemed to enjoy their work, and acted as a team. A stressful day turned into a stress-free, well orchestrated Move! Thanks to Shavaughnre, Christian, and SDevis from Casselberry, FL! Office was excellent in communicating as changes occured, both ours, and theirs. Would use and recommend them in a heartbeat!
Every aspect of my move
Every aspect of my move, right from getting a quote to maintaining contact with me throughout to be sure we were both on the same page, to the move itself was just great. I so appreciate a moving company that actually does everything so well.
Terrible Customer Service.
I agree with those reviews that say this used to be a good company but it has gone severely downhill. I first used them in 2015 and again in 2019 Now it is arrogant rude customer service It's as if they feel they don't need to be considerate now that they are somewhat successful. What a pity. Maybe it's time for a change in office/receptionist staff. This is how companies get run into the ground . Not to mention what the Better Business Bureau has to say about them.
Very disappointed with our removalists
Very disappointed with our removalists. They went to a wrong address to start with. Then gave me a pitch about how many other jobs they had to do on that day and so they didn’t want to move anything heavy because otherwise they would end up tired. Moved all the light easy stuff (6 boxes) and left bigger awkward stuff like outdoor lounge frames. There were several pots that I was reassured they could cope with when I booked (they werent big). The removalists complained so much about weight and that they didn’t have handles (?) I gave up encouraging them - hubby and I ended up moving them ourselves. Everything was done at snail pace and with significant negotiation. I think it may have been their second time doing an uplift, so in have been trying to give them benefit of doubt. I also had a big picture frame individually insured by 2menandtruck which they managed to avoid moving too… We didn’t have a lot to move and yet it took 5 plus hours. There werent enough hours in day to have them go back for a second trip to move the remaining few items. I know these things always take much longer than you expect but we really had moved most of the stuff… I just needed a truck/space and some muscle to help move the big awkward items… very very nice men, but this cost a lot as we paid on an hourly rate… (another lesson learnt!)
