NO TOKEN COST AND HIGH PERFORMANCE…

NO TOKEN COST AND HIGH PERFORMANCE !!!!!!!!!! OMG, as a Dir of AI and Cybersecurity education, I LOVE this app. I am on my front-end M2 Mac Studio in TypingMind via Chrome. Using a LARGE LMM (over 300GB) on my back-end M3 Mac Studio server with 512GB of shared memory, which is running LM Studio.

Speed and versatility!

The speed and versatility! TypingMind has become a reliable, fast, and flexible part of my daily workflow, with quick responses and a clean interface that makes it easy to focus on the work. I really appreciate the wide support for different models and APIs, which lets me keep everything in one place instead of bouncing between separate apps. Its plugin system and MCP integrations make it practical to connect AI to other tools I use, without feeling overly complicated. One of the most useful aspects is how easy it is to switch between models when one is slow or acting up, so I can stay productive. Overall, TypingMind feels stable, thoughtfully built, and well-suited for someone who uses AI a lot but still wants a straightforward, dependable interface.

i use it everyday

i use it everyday. I tried to build my own AI assistant bots before, and I am very impressed how many hard things TypingMind gets right. Persistent memory, persona onboarding, comms integration. The result is AWESOME.

My Multi-Model Control Center

TypingMind has become an essential part of my daily workflow. It seamlessly bridges the gap between my primary AI providers and the specialized models I use for specific tasks via APIs and OpenRouter. The standout feature for me is the ability to prompt multiple models simultaneously and compare their responses side-by-side. It was easy to set up and provides consistent value daily.

TypingMind: A Practical AI Interface That Boosts Real Work

TypingMind has quickly become one of those tools I didn’t realize I needed until it became part of my daily workflow. I genuinely love it—and not just as a “cool AI interface,” but as a practical, reliable workspace that helps me produce better work faster. I use it constantly for pastoral materials (sermon outlines, lesson structure, phrasing, and clarity), for QA-style checking (making sure content is consistent, organized, and easy to follow), and for a variety of other writing and planning tasks.

On the QA side, TypingMind is a strong companion for validation and automation work—especially when programming is involved. I regularly use it to help design and refine API validation (request/response schemas, status code expectations, edge cases, negative tests), write and review functional test cases, and generate or improve test automation code for real-world workflows. It also assists with load testing planning—helping define scenarios, ramp-up strategies, performance thresholds, and interpreting results—plus other QA-related automation tasks like building reusable assertions, creating test data strategies, and drafting regression suites. If you do hands-on QA engineering, it’s genuinely useful as a thinking partner that speeds up implementation and reduces time spent on repetitive boilerplate.

Overall, TypingMind is an excellent tool if you’re doing any serious writing, teaching, content prep, or structured thinking. It’s not just convenient—it genuinely improves my workflow. If you rely on AI for real work (not just experimentation), TypingMind is absolutely worth using.

Thoughtfully designed and well developed

TypingMind is probably my most used AI tool. Calling it just a wrapper for AI models doesn’t do it justice. It’s thoughtfully designed and developed at an impressive pace. If you’re looking for a tool that brings all your AI models into a single interface, this is the one to get.

I really like the experience so far

I really like the experience so far.

Honestly, this is the only service that comes close to what i had in mind from a BYOK app.

The initial cost was though, but after a few months it (almost) payed itself.
There are a few things I miss from the subscriptions, like a way to do deep search without two expensive APIs (Serp and Firecrawl), and the agent thing GPT has (the ones you can schedule).
Besides that, the only thing i would want is native support for more AIs besides GPT, Gemini and Claude (like Grok, Minstral and DeepSeek).

~PS, Just to be clear, you can set manually any models and it works no problems, so it's no big deal. But i would love if just spiting the key there was enough for everything to start working, like in GPT)
