On 04/01/2022 I purchased four (4) brand new 235/65R17 108V Sp-303 HT Austone tyres costing me $764.00.

I purchased these to make my trip from Darwin to Tennant Creek, I was 50kms outside of Mataranka when one of them blew on me.

I had no phone coverage in this area & luck happened a good Samaritan pulled over & changed it with my spare.

I phoned Tyreright Darwin at Winnellie where I purchased them, one of the sales people told me to take it to Bridgestone in Tennant Creek & this is where/when a massive confrontation about the tyre had taken place between the owner & his son about the tyre.

I phoned Darwin's office only to be told it was MY fault because there was not enough pressure in the tyre. I was told there was a nail in it but I was standing right in front of the tyre & could not see one. All I could see was burnt rubber inside the tyre showing me that it was faulty.

The Darwin office told me to pay for another one to replace it at my expense which cost me $230.00.

I am a pensioner & this has caused me more grief that words can not explain.

I seek reimbursement for payment for the damaged tyre as it was BLOODY faulty.

I will not return to either one of these places ever again, if anything I will travel to Alice Springs to buy my tyres in future.
