Bad Company Customer Support
I cannot say enough what a bad experience I have had contacting this company’s customer service for their hand-held IonVac Cordless Vacuum. We bought this item from Walmart in July of 2025. It stopped holding a charged in December. I contacted the company in January 2026 regarding its full-year warranty. They responded to my first email that we should be using a certain type of plug adapter to charge. The charging adapter was NOT provided with this product, only a USB cable so we used an adapter we already owned which worked great for the first six months. When we provided a required photo of the charging adapter, they replied it was not correct and posted a picture of what was needed. We immediately went to Walmart and then to Best Buy to try to find this plug, but to no avail. Technicians at both store tried to help us but said they don’t have an adapter like that and told us that is an outdated adapter that most stores don’t carry any more. I sent two more emails asking specifically of Tzumi Customer Support where to purchase this type of adapter, and all they would ever do is send curt emails that said, “One more time, I’m going to tell you what you need and just repeated the type of plug adapter but NOT where to purchase, as this is what I needed to know. We finally gave up on them since we could tell they were not going to honor the warranty, which most reputable companies would have provided a prepaid return label with instructions to return for repair or replacement to honor the “still in effect” warranty. We would NEVER recommend this company’s products to anyone. If the plug adapter was that imperative for the performance, it should have been included with the vacuum. We have now purchased a hand-held Shark and it INCLUDES all equipment required for optimum performance.
