I am become the victim of online scam

I am become the victim of online scam, I am having account in ubl, I never given my information at internet, I never purchased anything online through my ubl card, my card details, has been leaked, and thrice international POS transaction has been made,
While I have not provided my details how my information leaked, Is card department of ubl is involved that they providing customer information to scammers, and they are attempting and making your debit and credit card empty and in minus.

Please please please take it seriously don't misuse your position and take account, thousands of people are facing facebk ads deduction by international transactions.

I am UBL customer from long time and…

I am UBL customer from long time and till now facing issues of UBL services i arrived in Pakistan on 25th April 2025 and visited branch for my ATM and till now i didn't receive my card because of poor service, UBL staff is also very unprofessional and cheap behaviour with customers, i have only 1 month vacation and they destroyed my so many days with this issue, so many things i missed i visited branch 5 times i called helpline 6 times but UBL staff still making me fool with no reason.

Pathetic Services with Extensive Charges!

Extremely disappointing experience. This bank reflects the worst of outdated, bureaucratic service where the customer seems like an afterthought. From unexplained charges to questionable security of personal assets, it's clear that customer care and transparency are not priorities.

If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly urge you to avoid this bank. There are far better alternatives in Pakistan that actually treat customers with respect and accountability.

UBL takes months to resolve a minor issue.

The banking app works well when its working, but if you need customer service then god help you. I changed my phone and now have no access to my account for months and even online is blocked. I emailed them they replied after weeks saying something very generic. replied that waited several more weeks only for another generic message. too slow and too painful. Avoid this bank.

Extremely horrible experience

Extremely horrible experience in Pakistan and outside Pakistan.

1. Just recently I tried opening RD account and their site can not even get the format of an international number correct. How horribly inefficient must the team be that in an input field which says international number, their system can not recognise it or provide any way to specify a country.

2. I tried connecting with their support team - contacted people whose AUTO-Generated emails were sent to me in consequence of filling out the application for account opening. None of them replied to date! Relationship manager Manisha, nor their Senior Bank Manager Wasif Ali Refaie.

Would recommend completely avoiding this bank as their people do not really give a damn.

UBL Ameen has the most pathetic…

UBL Ameen has the most pathetic customer service.
I paid my electricity bill through UBL Ameen last month within the due date but my previous bill is carried forward along with fine.
I lodged my complaint on Feb 22 which is still unresolved after 6 days and tomorrow is the last date to deposit the bill this month.
All they have are lame excuses and unprofessional staff who ask for CNIC and account details daily but do nothing to resolve the issue.

Problems of dormancy of accounts of overseas Pakistanis at United Bank Ltd. (UBL) of Pakistan

Some ignoramus idiot bureaucrat at the United Bank Ltd. (UBL), who does not know the nature and purpose of the American Internal Revenue Service (IRS) W9 Form, has put it in the standard procedures for reactivation of dormant accounts of overseas Pakistanis. Rest of the staff at UBL is parroting that it is mandatory for reactivation of dormant accounts of overseas Pakistanis, revealing its intellectual, professional, and ethical-moral atrophy. It is being abused by UBL to harass overseas Pakistanis like me, an American citizen since 1982, for verification purposes, against the decision of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) for all Pakistani banks to verify the overseas Pakistanis through the NADRA system. I have submitted copies of my US Passport and NADRA’s NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis) to the UBL, as well as other forms that it sent to me. Are these not more than enough to verify my identity? Why is UBL insisting on submission of IRS W9 Form for that, demanding that I report my American income, tax returns, and submit my American Social Security Number Card for that? What have these to do with the dormancy and reactivation of my foreign currency account at UBL? Why is UBL, being a foreign bank, using the American IRS W9 form at all? W9 Form is meant to be used only by American private companies and contractors, which can only request their own employees only for tax information, and not for their identification. Even American banks do not have the legal right to request, much less demand their account holders to submit the W9 Form for tax return, income, or any other purpose. How can UBL, a foreign bank, demand such submissions from its account holders? It is a mad house. That is why I have refused to submit it. Also, W9 is meant for those American citizens or permanent residents, who file tax returns. All these facts are available on the Internet. One only needs to type W9 Form in the search engines. I do not have to file tax returns, as my Social Security income is low enough to make me exempt from filing tax returns. I have worked as geneticist mostly in Brazil. One does not have to report income there to the IRS in the US and Social Security Administration does not count it in determining one’s monthly social security income in the US. I have worked only for a few years in the US with a Federal Government Agency, US Department of Agriculture, as a Project Leader, before retirement. That is why my monthly social security income in the US is low enough to qualify me for not having to file tax returns. I have enough money in several American banks to live comfortably. I have never had such horrible problems with the American or Brazilian banks that I have encountered with UBL. In the US, people change the phone and Internet companies frequently, with changes in their phone numbers and email addresses, and report these changes by phone or email to the banks and other organizations, which update them in a few minutes. UBL has created standard procedures which make such changes extremely cumbersome and time consuming for overseas Pakistanis. It had even blocked my so-called registered email address, without informing me. It took several weeks of constant efforts to get it unblocked. At first, its respondents claimed that it was not blocked on their end and was blocked at my end. However, after I proved to them that it was blocked on their end, as I could get the emails they sent me, but they could not receive my emails, they unblocked it, after repeated efforts for a week by their technicians. In the meantime, they insisted that they would only consider my requests for reactivation of my account only if I send them the emails from my registered email address, and not from any other email address. How could I send them emails from the registered email address that they had blocked? Again, I was dealing with a mad house. One more example of UBL mad house. In the last four years, I changed phone companies several times and my phone numbers also changed. During my efforts to reactivate my dormant account, UBL insisted that it will only reactivate it if I call from my registered phone number of four years ago! I told them that I had changed my phone, phone company, and phone number, and I no longer had the old phone either. However, they refused to update to my new phone number, in spite of calling me on that!

I most horrible bank in this world is there any minus rating of these bloody basters I used atm on 20 jan 2025 with my ubl premium card my account is highly transactive with business and home payment I withdraw money which is deducted from my account but I didn't receive it they are not sending my money after 4 days once I have my money I am going to cancel my account to these bullshit

I am highly disappointed with UBL’s…

I am highly disappointed with UBL’s service. An international payment for my university i initiated recently has been delayed for over 13 days, jeopardizing my academic future. Despite multiple follow-ups, customer support has been unresponsive and unhelpful. Ubl is playing a vital role in jeopardizing my educational career im going to file a lawsuit against them.

Such inefficiency and lack of urgency are unacceptable for a trusted bank.

Please try and INTRODUCE Negative Stars…

Please try and INTRODUCE Negative Stars Rating exclusively for UBL. This bank customer services is operated by Butchers or Cobblers who doesn't know a word of banking.

Every time a new team member will send email with his own requirement giving an impression as if he owns the bank. The lazy team won't bother for a minute to check back into customer profile if previously any documents have been filled, signed and submitted.

Yet the shit continues. The whole team could not reactivate my UBL Digital Banking account even in past 3 months...and every time things start with the same non-sense.

This is a criminal mindset to frustrate customers and these customer service members must not be fired but also also blacklisted to work for any bank in pakistan.

World's Pathetic Bank

World's Pathetic Bank. I shifted abroad from Pakistan. I couldn't get OTP on my registered number, so I sent an email to my registered email asking them to please change my number So, I can use my UBL Account. But they never responded. They dropped customer service calls after 25-30 minutes but no one picks. It has been 8 months I am trying to update my details So, I can use my Account.
Staff is highly unprofessional Even I think they don't have any staff for services. One of my biggest regrets is trusting UBL while moving abroad.

UBL is the worst bank in the world

UBL is the worst bank in the world. Customer services are pathetic. Tried to open RDA account but no OTP is coming on registered mobile number and tried man days then open account in other bank.
Again tried to open RDA USD account same issue came called from abroad to call center but customer center was unable to reply and solve the issue. Told make e.mail .Alo made e.mails but no reply.
Now going to open account in other bank.
Kindly avoid to open accounts in UBL otherwise you will get suffer from their staff and services.
Think many times before opening account. My friends and family are going to close their all accounts from UBL.

Its a worst bank you can ever interact…

Its a worst bank you can ever interact with. Worst customer service. Very arrogant and rude customer service. One of the customer service staff tried to disrespect my wife on call, upon raising complaint they did not get back to me. I followed up again and ended up raising complaint on Pakistan Citizen App and then got the response from UBL. They were also extremely arrogant and even asked me "If your wife does not understand banking why did you give him the bank account with us". I tired to educate them that you guys are customer service and if customer is not aware of something and called you to ask for help then you are supposed to help, This is customer service. Long Story
But UBL staff over all is uneducated, arrogant and rude.
